Re: The Fridge Full of Cash - Romelu Lukaku
Reports in Spain are now saying that Atleti are no longer after Lukaku.

Would you argue that Mandzukic isn't a technically superior player to Costa?
Their only similarity is conversion rate, in every other statistic Mandzukic is superior to Costa. I think Mario's ability to score with both feet and head (unlike Costa) would allow him to thrive.

Yes.
I honestly think Costa is the better player, Mandzukic is better defencively though.

Benched again.
Will probably come off the bench to bully tired defenders, maybe that is a sign of future things to come.

I thought we'll sign Mandzukic rather than Costa.
I mean yes Costa is a beast, yes he bites, yes he hammer opponents defense but... Mario is such a worker and Munchen fans loved him because of that (along with his execution ability).
But... yeah I think that Mario is perfect for Mourinho.
Just look at his heat map in one match:

I honestly don't mind Mandzukic considering our current options, but I do rate Costa higher.

Re: The Fridge Full of Cash - Romelu Lukaku
Romelu Lukaku has no idea where he will play next season and has not spoken to Chelsea since September
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/chelsea/10949827/Romelu-Lukaku-has-no-idea-where-he-will-play-next-season-and-has-not-spoken-to-Chelsea-since-September.html

Romelu Lukaku does not know where his club future lies and has not spoken to anyone from Chelsea since last September.
Lukaku, who will take a three-week holiday following Belgium’s World Cup quarter-final exit, said: “I want to be somewhere where I can play my best football and hopefully win titles. It’s up to me to work hard. There are choices to make. Things like that happen in football and I’m confident I will make the right choice.”
It is understood that Chelsea are prepared to sell Lukaku and have proposed a fee of upwards of £20 million. Everton would like to re-sign the 21-year-old striker but face competition from clubs across Europe.
“I have a few ideas but we’ll see,” Lukaku said when asked about his future. “I have to have discussions and have to think about it. I want to go home and rest a bit with my family and then I will decide. It will be soon.”
Asked whether he expected to return to Chelsea, Lukaku said: “I’m looking at everything, but first of all I want to go on holiday and relax a little bit.”
When asked if had spoken anyone at his parent club since last September, he said: “No, not yet. It depends what is the best for me, where the most ambition is and where is the best place for me to do develop. I’m still 21, but I think I’m experienced enough now. I’ve played a lot of games and scored and a lot of goals and now I want to win titles and become one of the best.”

Romelu Lukaku says he wants to leave Chelsea:
Belgian forward Romelu Lukaku wants to be “free” of Chelsea and sign a permanent deal with a Champions League club

Just dump this monumental prick already. Christ.

-“I am 21 and I have been loaned for the last two seasons. Thibaut Courtois was loaned for three seasons and will be without doubt the first-choice Chelsea goalkeeper.”
“And Kevin De Bruyne has been transferred permanently to Wolfsburg. They are free in their heads - it is not my case. That would free me totally.”
“I need to make a good decision to reach the absolute top so that I can score a goal like Higuain against us. It is a dream for every attacker.”
“Higuain has evolved slowly into becoming a top player. I want to show what I can do and play in the Champions League with a big club.”
“The decision will soon be taken. I have some ideas but we will have to see what is best for the clubs. I don’t want to negotiate before the clubs have come to an agreement.”
Just dump this monumental prick already. Christ.

Re: The Fridge Full of Cash - Romelu Lukaku
He's having an absolute laugh if he thinks any 'top, Champions League, trophy-contesting' club is gonna stump the 30-40 million fee the club apparently want on an unproven 21-year-old who's thus far performed solely for mid-table clubs and who's currently coming off the back of a horrendous World Cup.

Re: The Fridge Full of Cash - Romelu Lukaku
My biggest problem with him leaving is the fact we either have to replace him with an U-21 OR a homegrown player OR we have to sign a homegrown player elsewhere.
Pogba coming and him leaving would be ok.

Re: The Fridge Full of Cash - Romelu Lukaku
This is all on him. He's the one stirring shit up unnecessarily. It's no wonder Mourinho flogged him out on loan at the first chance he got. Seriously, if this is the way you feel - tell the club when you meet with them. Just keep your damn mouth shut to the press like 99% of other footballers do and stop acting like such a self-important bellend. You're only making yourself look bad.

I get the feeling he will, once he returns from holiday, if he really wants to leave.

Re: The Fridge Full of Cash - Romelu Lukaku
Before the WC I really had no problem with him, even if he had all these lame comments and how he left the club on loan.
I still believe he forced the loan move and wasn't Mourinho, anyways this guy really can GTFO. I'm sick of his high opinion of himself, he's not a complete striker hes a complete tool.
How can someone who's played 2 years at highest level and self professed top striker have a worst touch on par with someone like Lescott? You would think getting benched by an unknown 19 year old who hardly plays for Lille last season would make him humble, no somehow his "amazing" achievements at WBA and Everton make him into a top tier striker.
Enjoy a club like Spurs you POS, or lets have Liverpool sign him with the Suarez money.

25 seems rather low. And if we sell him to Spurs in particular for anything other than obscene money we're insane.

I'm happy to sell him for anything above £30M, he isn't even that good tbh. Everyone always goes on about hes 21 and can improve his technique etc, am sure the same was said about Shola and Heskey.
