And I can find the stats if anyone wants them, but as a goalscorer from open play last season, Benzema was just about as good as Ronaldo, despite missing the sitters and tap ins and leaving the scrappers for others.

He isn't a pure striker he doesn't really make runs sometimes he's to static, and for some reason prefers to play outside of the box. You need a true goal scorer along side him to get the best out of Benz.

The whole he doesn't make runs garbage needs to stop.

He cannot be an isolated lone striker, he needs to touch the ball in the buildup, once he touches the ball he will make a run, not everybody is Hernandez or Inzaghi ffs.

You laugh but Benz best performance from last summer was when Ben Arfa linked up with him and gave defenders a torrid time in a pre-tournament friendly.

Because Blanc is too much of a pussy to pick the only player who could do something different other than passing it backwards and sideways.

Considering Real Madrid was the equal highest scoring team in the UCL with Barcelona with 35 goals and that we also scored 121 goals in La Liga, Barcelona 114, and we also managed 14 goals in just 3 rounds of the Copa del Rey as well.

I would have to say it's Real Madrid just barely ahead of Barcelona, there's simply no two ways about it.

SAF can dream if he likes, but it simply isn't the case.

You have a guy who scored 70+ goals as one of your goalsscorers then that makes barca a top strike force especially of villa comes back and Sanchez plus Pedro start scoring again. Just my two cents but Rvp + Rooney is untested water so fergue is just trolling.

Benzema was very wrongly deployed by Blanc. Mou brought the best out of Benzema last season and he'll do it for this upcoming season too.

Benzema's movement, first touch, close control, dribbling, speed of the mark, passing and vision are way better than RVP's. RVP is a better finisher than Benzema

LE: Checked, Benzema has 133g in 281m matches and RVP has 154g in 355m.

I think most people seem to think villa is finished and pedro is no longer a starter behind cesc. I kinda have a feeling villa is finished too, dunno why, cz he is only 30 mind you.

If cesc and iniesta continue to play in the front 3 then Barca is about 3rd or 4th in terms of strike force and thats only because of messi, otherwise we wouldnt be in the top ten!!!
