The most underrated goal keeper in the world is???

Roman Weidenfeller, easily the most underrated.

Valdes or D. Alves. Hart is the most over-rated.

Michael Rensing.

De Gea even though he plays for United IMO he is still either underrated or people just hate him for some reason. I know the press in England do any ways.

I would love for Barca to have De Gea over Valdes.

Brad Friedel as well, I don't think he's ever gotten his due and has been a rock for a very long time.

How many Koln games did you watch this season? Cuz Rensing definitely dsserves praise.

And Koln actually did well in the first half of the season. Half aay through during the winter break they were in 9th place, 3 points off a European spot. Tben they switched coaches, put Podolski out wide, and had a complete meltdown. But Rensing still did decent. In the first half of the season and the season before though, when Kolns defense actually did something, Rensing was tremendous.

Hell, Thomas Kraft is another very good goalkeeper who is now in the second division. But Rensing is definitely better.

Stephan Andersen is TBH very underrated in Denmark, IMO a better keeper than Lindegaard, but 98% of the Danes want Lindegaard

American bias aside, I'm obligated to say Tim Howard.

other than that, it's Handanovic by far. Rarely makes mistakes and is excellent with PKs. Playing for a midling club and a small national team counted against him.

As a matter of fact, Michael Rensing isn't half a bad choice. He tried to do everything for Köln and without him they certainly would have gotten twice or thrice the number of goals against. He even agreed to get less money in the 2nd league has he really supports the club, and guess what? They gave him the boot. This was probably the most outrageous thing Köln did!! They conceded 11 more goals than any other team in Bundesliga.If what you're saying is true, there's a chance they would have conceded 150 or 225 goals last year (which is impossible)

Well, if you watched some Köln matches and saw that Rensing was quite good, then you should have seen that they could indeed easily have gotten 150+ goals against. Köln were really *that* bad

Yes, at least in the second hakf of the seazon, Kolns defending was awful. They were conceding 5 goals a game for multiple games in a row in the second half of ths season. I dont know wbat it was, switching coaches, moving Poldi out wide, getting rid of Mohammad a couple seasons back or what, but in ths second half of this last season they were atrocious. In the first half we were actually good. We went into the chdistmas break in 9th, just 3 points off of Europe. Then we had a meltdown of epic proportions.

hes had 2 tremendous seasons but rarely get recognition when Dortmund is mentioned

Igor Akinfeev and Vyacheslav Malafeev..............They're both amazing, I think Malafeev doesn't get enough credit as Akinfeev does, the guy is just as good in every aspect.
