Line up for the game, borini, gerrard, carroll and lucas on the bench hoping to finally see borini in action, after staying up all night for the past 2 games and getting nothing. Downing starts lets see if his improved, should be interesting. Want jonjo to keep his current small run up.

What happened with Adams tackle on Bale? i didnt see it but AVB seemed pretty pissed off about it

It wasn't really that bad a tackle... at least not by Adam's standards.

It wasn't intentional, Adam's just that terrible. Like really terrible. He looked quite poor today.

Borini did not stand out to me, but I wasn't focusing in the second half. The game was quite boring, neither team managed much of anything throughout the entire match. Chances were hard to come by and nobody stood out that much.

Playing in black kits in 100F (38C) was a stupid decision and always likely to make for a dull game.I honestly thought that when we passed the ball we looked alright, at least the forward two midfielders and the attack. It always seems to break down once we got to about 10 passes, as someone would either try to force the issue or lose possession, though. Adam again was guilty of this on several occassions. I just can't see him, in his current form and fitness, finding a place in Rodger' teams.
