Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 2
I was hoping for a Lesnar Ryback match up at some point but I don't see that happening.
But I don't really get Punk's character anymore either. I could see him being a heel but the cowardly heel is pretty much a waste. Him wanting respect with not being in the main event and stuff like that is understandable but the fans loved him when he was a face. The demanding respect character won't go far strictly because he is the cowardly heel. Not sure what they are going to do with his character

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 2
He was getting boring though as face, almost becoming Cena 2.0.
The reason he was getting boring was because he was feuding with Miz, Ziggler, Del Rio, Bryan etc. Guys he's already better than. Punk does better against top faces like Triple H and Cena.
He didn't main event PPV's and his storylines sucked. Storylines like the 'alcohol' thing with Jericho, love triangle with AJ and Bryan, random match vs Ziggler at Royal Rumble etc etc.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 2
yea the cowardly heel is just isnt working. The best character punk can do is the edgy face, something like Austin but in his own way. The story lines they create for him suck, but then again all the story lines in wwe suck, even the AJ Cena is a rip off from TNA.
Notice how the only division that is going anywhere is the tag team division ? That's because Triple H is directly involved with it and the tag team tournament was his idea for example

Big Shows finisher has got to be the most credible finisher in WWE at the moment. Once you're hit, you're not getting back up.

i know its unlikely because of his kneck injuries, but is there any chance Edge will ever be involved with the WWE again? and is there any chance that the rock will win his title match whenever he has it?

i was just looking through the TNA roster and i was surprised at how much former WWE talent is there (and how how poorly Chavo Guerrero was treated). Is there any chance the likes of RVD, Kurt Angle and Jeff Hardy(if hes clean) return to the WWE, its because those types of guys left that i dont watch WWE as much any more

Nah, I don't think Edge will ever return unfortunately.
I can see Hardy, RVD and Angle returning one day.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 2
Palermo striker Fabrizio Miccoli has compared Juventus to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) champion CM Punk due to their willingness to do anything to win.
The former Old Lady striker has saluted the Bianconeri for their ability to capitalise on small situations and their grit when they are up against it.
"CM Punk, the WWE Champion for 344 days, is like Juve, as they are both strong and because they are great fighters," he told Tuttosport.
"They also take advantage of all little situations. For example, on Sunday [at a 'Hell In A Cell' event], he kept the title because the referee gave a 'low blow' to the opponent. You know, everything happens in wrestling.
Palermo director Pietro Lo Monaco recently claimed Miccoli would spend the rest of his career at the Renzo Barbera, and the former Benfica forward was quick to highlight his good relationship with the club official.
"This is the first time I heard such a thing and it filled me with joy. We'll talk soon, and see if we have everything you need to continue and move forward together, or not.
"The relationship between me and him will not change, however."
Palermo drew 2-2 with AC Milan on Tuesday and currently sit in 16th place in Serie A with eight points from 10 games.

RVD has always been treated like shit in the WWE simply because he's an ECW guy (notice how all the former wcw ecw guys were mid carders at best) Kurt could come back to the WWE but only as a legend, not on weekly basis. Jeff on the other hand can still be useful to the WWE and that's why he's getting the royal treatment at TNA.
Anyway the WWE doesnt need all these stars, they have enough talent already, guys like Brian, Ziggler, Rhodes and even Sandaw are as good as they come, they're just not being used properly. They also need to shake the top spot a little bit, guys like randy orton should step aside for now, like how come wade barret wasnt able to beat orton cleanly ? if you're building up a guy he shouldnt lose on raw after getting a sneaky win on smackdown, well at least make him dominate the match and then lose ! but no, Randy has to look like the bigger guy...again

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 2
Orton's barely done anything over the past year or so.
He's just been floating around feuding with midcarders.
He needs to turn heel and go for the WWE title.

well he was suspended twice in the last year so that explains it, but that doesnt change the fact that Randy never puts people over for the sake of the business.

Despite Ryback's loss at WWE Hell In a Cell, the idea is to still push him as a top star and put everything behind him.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 2
While Big Show captured the World Heavyweight Title from Sheamus at Hell In a Cell, it's said that Randy Orton and Dolph Ziggler will dominate the World Title picture in early 2013.

I think Ziggler needs to start cutting promos on his own.
And he needs a gimmick.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 2
I think the general idea is for Punk to defend (& lose) the title to Rocky at the Rumble. So IMO, Ryback could turn heel and feud with Cena or something, coz if he goes against Punk and loses again, then that takes away a lot of his credibility as a whoop ass Machine.Yohan Modric wrote:Despite Ryback's loss at WWE Hell In a Cell, the idea is to still push him as a top star and put everything behind him.

Apparently he had to go to the WWE headquarters or something to explain his actions.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 2
they just put the ref job behind them coz its a dead end, they were just desperate for a dirty finish and in hell in a cell they didnt have much of a choice really..
as for ryberg, his team should beat punk's in SS and will probably fued with the big show to gain some credibility...not expecting a shell shock though

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 2
Damn .... i really hope WWE comes up with a good angle for the Referee intervention, coz that was THE worst ending to a PPV ever.
i actually had my money on a brock lesnar intervention or something. It would have made sense as it would create a main event storyline for ryberg (
) while still having him continue his I-Kill-All streak & all then Punk starts his feud with Rocky.
