I thought it was quite unexpected but I liked it anyway. Didn't think they'd let Punk lose but I didn't think they'd let Ryback look weak either. Had to be some tricky way but I didn't expect the low blow at all lol.

WWE is already teasing Ryback vs. CM Punk for the WWE Title at November's Survivor Series pay-per-view. They wrote:

"Survivor Series offers a prime opportunity for Ryback to exact his revenge; can CM Punk elude the creature's grasp until then?"

of all the ways this match could have ended, of all the possible scenarios they do a ref job ? come on ! well maybe if we were'nt expecting a screw job the ref thingy would've been suprising, but the reality is people didnt care for the match itself as much as they cared about the finish, people were speculating (and we havnt had the chance to do that lately with the shit booking) and this is what we get ?

imo the ryback character inst yet complete, for now he's just a lesnar goldberg hybrid with a 90s gimmick. To be honest Ryback isnt ready for a main event type of feud, and the only reason they put him against punk is because of Cena's injury. As for now, Sheamus will be feuding with Big Show, and after they produced such a great match yesterday i dont see them pulling the plug on that story line. As for Cena, he's now involved in the AJ vickie storyline with a possible feud with Ziggler (that should serve as a long due push for Dolph) so Ryback will probably keep Punk busy until the Royal Rumble Rock feud

Anyway I think Lesnar should have been on CM Punk's team. Ryback vs Lesnar would have been something to look forward too.

In terms of Punk's character, I don't they should have turned him into a cowardly heel. It doesn't really make sense. I mean when he was face, he'd fight anyone fairly and show he's the best in the World. And then suddenly he turns on the fans and becomes a cowardly heel? Doesn't make sense.

In terms of the 'respect' thing he's talking about, well the fans gave him respect, so I'm not sure why he's saying they don't respect him.

I was hoping for a Lesnar Ryback match up at some point but I don't see that happening.

But I don't really get Punk's character anymore either. I could see him being a heel but the cowardly heel is pretty much a waste. Him wanting respect with not being in the main event and stuff like that is understandable but the fans loved him when he was a face. The demanding respect character won't go far strictly because he is the cowardly heel. Not sure what they are going to do with his character
