While i understand the sentiment, it has no place in business.
At the end of the day, these people are putting in money in anticipation of return over a long period of time. And past achievement is only one of the factors they will consider while making their decision.

Exactl, the butthurt is too strong. So what if Milan had achieved squat before? All I know is when he bought you guys you went on to be in 5 out of the 7 cl finals when you had only made like 2 before in your entire history ffs. Let them buy whoever they want, who cares, as Lille showed money doesnt = titles and as pellegrini showed as well. City needed gd to beat one of our worst united sides ffs.

Sucks. But has been around before the arabs.
Bayern, Milan, Inter, Real, ManU etc. have been doing this within their respective leagues for years, and to an extent within the continent.
For example, Bayern bought Klose, Frings, and Borowski just when Bremen started repeatedly threatening them. They hardly needed any of those three players.

So in La Liga when 2 teams get all the money from TV, and when the lower teams manage to produce top talent they just get picked off by top teams. It's been like that forever and money just changes the powers slightly.

People are putting way too much blame on those clubs.I mean the other clubs had the chance to refuse the offers for their players anyways.

And there AFAIK, VW and Bayer aren't allowed to give up their majority as well, without the clubs being thrown out of the league.
So foreign ownership just isn't possible. It is, however, possible to inject money into a club, as with Hoffenheim, or circumvent some rules, as with RB Leipzig, though I predict that Leipzig will come under much scrutiny once they reach the 2nd flight.
