Re: The Movie House
Watched Argo, really enjoyed it. some of the scenes were pretty intense, had me on the edge of my seat.
Credit to Ben Affleck, played his role so well.

Re: The Movie House
I want to watch that. I've only seen bits and pieces of it.
Just got done watching this.
I don't really ever watch anime, but it was a nice love story. I don't know- I've never enjoyed anime too much (except for ridiculously amazing movies like Spirited Away) because it's a bit harder to see and feel the story the way it's supposed to be felt- as a Japanese audience, I'm obviously not Japanese so I always feel like I'm missing out on something, which is something I don't really like.

Re: The Movie House
Watched the anime of Dante's Inferno and I actually liked it quite a bit.
I'm a big fan of the original Divine Comedy so it was pleasing to see this feature stay relatively true to that, despite making Dante this badass crusader.
There were elements of an animated Spartacus/Heavy Metal as well.
7/10

Re: The Movie House
Just watched Warm Bodies
Overall it was good, funny at times, a bit cheesy other times. It's not the greatest Zombie comedy movie, nowhere near Zombieland or Shaun of the dead, but still pretty good.
Would recommend it

I know I'm late but I just watched Skyfall.
It was okay. Not that bad as some have said so far.

Watched Skyfall, my opinion about it is the same as Soul's. it was ok considering all the hype that they built around it.

Re: The Movie House
Watched Flight. Such a harrowing story, played to perfection by Denzel. It was similar to his role in Man on Fire because he was portraying an alcoholic. I thought that the soundtrack, ensemble cast and cinematography (particularly the crash scene) make this a superb overall film from director Robert Zemeckis (also the director of the Back to the Future series, Forrest Gump, Romancing the Stone, Death Becomes Her, Cast Away, etc...)

Re: The Movie House
It's a shame Denzel has to compete for best actor this year because the competition is pretty intense. Daniel Day Lewis is a virtual shoe in.

A good science fiction movie imo. If you like science fiction watch it, but be warned it's not really an action orientated film.

Re: The Movie House
Watched 'Argo'
and 'Flight'
Argo was fresh, funny, exciting and had me on the edge if the seat in the final scenes. Some of tge scenes were in-tense. Ben afflek as director
Well, the landing scenes in 'Flight' were amazing as well. Denzel put up a tremendous performance and carried the film.

Re: The Movie House
I watched a very strange movie tonight....
A very un-hallywood like movie, Extremely European
You can feel free to guess:
S_____ C_________ O_ A F_____ F_____
Apparently Netflix had cut 30 mins of the movie due to explicit nudity.

Re: The Movie House
Watched Lincoln yesterday. And I juz want to say Daniel Day-Lewis deserves every award he's received thus far for his performance as President Abraham Lincoln, and all that he still will receive for this performance. He's such a phenomenal actor. Always kills it!
As for the movie overall, it was wonderfully directed. Not my type of movie - politics stuff. But it had a great story to it.
My Rating:
7.1/10

Watched 22 Bullets (or The Immortal in the literal French translation) - solid French crime drama/revenge film starring Jean Reno.

What a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad movie. Seriously, it made Green Lantern look deep and well done.
