In terms of goals/assist yes.
He didn't impress me performance-wise tbh.

Re: Oscar
Why not? He allows Cesc and Hazard to play to their full, by covering both.
He isn't your typical AM but he is effective in our system.

Re: Oscar
What is wrong with this guy?
Someone explain to me how can a player form can fluctuate so badly?
The thing is even when he had a sub par performance in the begining of the season he was critical with his ability to take pressure off Cesc and be the team distributor. What about his energy defensively, you could always expect that from him doing the small things. But jeez he cannot even do the simplistic things, he looks completely out of it and zombie in most games. Mou has actually has rested him on a few occasions lately, but no changes.
I like him a lot but we need another attacking AM that challenges his spot, because his second half form is beyond ridiculous.
Someone like Isco would be perfect, can play on the right and option centrally.

Jose Mourinho wrote:"I have a feeling that Oscar, next year, can have the same evolution that Hazard had this season.
"He has never had a pre-season in his life because of tournaments but now he will have a pre-season because he is injured for the Copa America."

Re: Oscar
This has got nothing to do with pre-season.
Mourinho's on a high right now. He has won the league and is out of the UCL so he doesnt feel the pressure; he's basically in what you can call a troll mode.
He might mean what he says, but that doesn't change the fact that holding onto Oscar as a main team player is a bad decision.

Re: Oscar
Most def, I think Rambo who was a little skinny when he joined has put on a little bit of lean muscle so no reason to believe Oscar can't improve on that aspect.

Re: Oscar
Time to bump this thread from the abyss of garbage.
I hear he might be one of the conspirators? (and that he's the one who made the statement that he would rather lose than win for Mourinho)
He is a below average player who should ve been sold before the start of the season. It's evident that Hazard is not innocent too, but I don't think he's as stupid as Oscar, or is he?
One of Mourinho's mistakes was to keep this bench player around. A bad apple spoils the bunch.
