Maybe Pato could explode? I think he is kinda afraid of Ibra lol. That or he is just a flop now.

Re: Benefit of Ibra Leaving
I think you guys can try and be positive about this but I feel that losing Ibra would not be a positive thing at all! He is undisputed when it comes to serie a! Best forward hands down and the big goal threat at Milan since he arrived so I think its okay for you guys to be upset and pissed coz I would be! The Silva thing though What a downgrade for his career...he should have atleast gone to Barca or a City

Re: Benefit of Ibra Leaving
In all seriousness, we were doing what teams with Ibra do: becoming reliant. It's a good thing we are getting rid of him so now we can play more complex football.

ibra haulted patos growth.. even when he was injury free ibra didnt want to play along side him.. i think pato would explode this season

Why !? Would he explode ? Because Cassano is going to feed him !? What if he can't link up with him either !?

Milan play beautiful football without Ibra, and play as a team, no more hoof it to Ibra and this is a good thing!

We were way too predictable with Ibra. He is a great player no question about it but how many times was there a long ball to Ibra that resulted in nothing.

Re: Benefit of Ibra Leaving
While our football may have been on occasion more pleasing to the eye without him, there is no doubt that a Milan with Ibra in the XI was infinitely more clinical and effective.
Unless Pato/El Sharaawy explodes with Cassano/Robinho as a partner in attack, I don't see much hope for next season.

I'm looking forward to see better team football, and I hope we can make it happen. Would cause a lot of respect if we did a nice CL run without our best players, would truly be awe-inspiring. Though I must admit I don't have high hopes there.

Re: Benefit of Ibra Leaving
Milan could play like this:
Abate Mexes Acerbi? Emanuelson/Dídac new LB?
--------------------Nocerino
----------Montolivo--------KPB
Cassano-------Pato -----------Robinho
Not a bad team, but a couple of signings could improve it. Can Nocerino play DM? Or Traore is any good?
What about Strasser? Or that midfielder you used to have who looked pretty good, Merkel?

Strasser's out injured for three months, Merkel was exchanged for El Shaarawy's contract with Genoa and Nocerino can't play as our defensive midfielder sadly.

Now we can actually change our tactics, 4-3-3 anyone?

Well, that's what Allegri talked about on a recent press conference - some kind of 4-3-3

benefit of ibra leaving...
maybe our front line becomes more mobile.
we can also change tactics
our squad can be made more team work based rather than a solo oriented team that we had last year.
we got rid of perhaps our final installment payment to barca, we collected fee from him, and we got rid of his salary.
-----------------------------------
bad news is that
we will be loosing his winning mentality, that leadership, a guy who wont settle for draws or losses.
we will be loosing our strong, fit player who pretty much stays healthy to play all league, or european competition
we will be loosing guy who can do solo stuff and win game by himself, milan weakness is that we couldnt beat small teams at times and ibra used to do that for us.
i dont think we have a striker yet who can break 20 goals barrier in our squad.

Re: Benefit of Ibra Leaving
Besides Ibra, only Nocerino and Boateng showed that they know how to score goals. I expect good season from Cassano after bad year for his health. That is if he stay in Milan. I dont believe in Robinho, but if he is swaped with that goalkeeper we will lose another forward player after departures of Pippo, Lopez and i'm affraid to say Ibrahimovic. I dont know who will play in our atack next season. There is only Cassano and again injured Pato.

after loosing a great champion like silva ... it doesnt hurt me if we loose cassano . i really like cassano but if he wants to abandon us. his choice, i have no harm feelings.
on robinho, he has been so wasteful, i dont know ... but he is very fortunate, given we lost ibra he is definitely staying. if he goes its ok, i actually think this season would be his last straw to save himself from all that wastefulness.
pato is the future, hope we keep him fit and hope he stays injury free.if there is any hope for this season, im pinng my hopes on him
