In all honesty, I don't think anyone will in the short term.
But Malaga and Atletico have the best chance as it stands.

Heck of a team right there. Its all beacuse of a stupid President
doesnt matter , youth academies are the biggest strength of Spanish clubs. they will always produce good players on a consistent basis. Its just a matter of time before Valencia become a super team again.

Yeah we'll always manage. Munching off Ligue 1 is also a plus.

If any challenge in the near future my money is on Malaga. (No pun intended)
Obvious choice but they have money to attract players and if they finish top 4 again they can be considered champions league qualification material.
I still don't see them being a major threat though because there aren't many teams who can challenge Barca/Madrid and the players who can are mostly at top clubs already.

Re: Which La Liga team will challenge Real Madrid and Barcelona next season/in the future?
Realistically, it's going to be some time before anybody can realistically challenge. But Malaga are obviously going to be up there in a few seasons...
Re: Which La Liga team will challenge Real Madrid and Barcelona next season/in the future?
It's sad because all the rest of La Liga have become selling clubs. Teams just don't have the financial power as Madrid and Barca. Hopefully Malaga sugar daddies are for real.

Malaga are broke and up for sale.
