I doubt his opinion is the same now as it was then.... no one's is.
In any case 1 person =/= an entire fanbase.

To quote Ian Malcolm from Jurassic Park "This isn't some species that was obliterated by deforestation, or, or the building of a dam. [Nottingham] had their shot, and nature selected them for extinction"

You can actually understand what that guy is saying?
I thought the joke was that he was incoherent and sounded like a neanderthal

Yeah.... we need an owner, like the one at Man City.
That was years ago though, times have changed..... despite what some people will want you to believe.
We are happy with how the club is run ( stadium name change and sports direct signs all over the f*ckin place aside) and want the stability to continue.
F*ck that takeover shit.

I'm pleased for them. They are a proper club and have 2 CL's to their name. Hopefully they'll be back in the prem and replace a sh*thole club like Stoke.

Stokes not going anywhere, not yet at least
They always finish in the lower half but they start strong so they really aren't ever involved in the relegation battle
Plus no Europa League to distract them this season

Because a club with history like theirs deserves to be in the Premier League imo.
As much as I dislike Leeds, I would also like to see them in the prem. Leeds n Forrest >> The likes of Wigan, which is just a Rugby town and has barely any fans.

Re: Nottingham Forest Taken over by The Al-Hasawi family from Kuwait
Nottingham f*cked themselves over with stupid investments and even more stupid managerial appointments over the years. For them to screw up so magnificently and have some rich idiots come in and shove a giant money-filled pillow under them is a bit........bleh
Far from being pleased, i'm rather disgusted and disappointed. Hope they stay where they are and never appear in the PL

Re: Nottingham Forest Taken over by The Al-Hasawi family from Kuwait
They probably would go the QPR route. Also, from reading more about this deal, I stumble upon some stuff about Notts Forrest courtesy of Pies:
First things first, with the imminent sales of Luke Chambers and Joel Lynch to Ipswich and Huddersfield respectively, our defensive ranks consist of one makeshift left-back and three right-backs – two of whom are worryingly green and were playing reserve-team football last year – and a quick glance further up the field reveals similar problems. Indeed, there are no players currently occupying squad numbers 2-7.
In short, the squad is a sparsely-populated, paper-thin, completely unbalanced shambles.
Mr Al-Hasawi, over to you…
Basically, don't expect any quick jump to the BPL. And there is nothing wrong with romanticising the past, just don't use it as a measuring stick to judge a club's performance in the present...

exactly.. it's the only ways for small clubs to be able to compete against the giants in spain, england, and italy.. otherwise it's like the same top 2 or top 4 every year. i call that boring.
