He offered his resignation as an apology. Bielsa's a very proud man, but this is just a way of saying sorry in public.

What? First off, he wasn't sacked lol

And secondly...how does this make him any less of a great manager lol? Bielsa is one of the best in the world, don't know why you think this changes anything in that regard. The fact that Bilbao look like they won't accept his resignation request kind of backs up that fact doesn't it?
