How would you rate the Euros
Rate the Euros 2012
So after 31 games, The Euros have ended with Spain retaining their crown. Think the Tournament was really good, personally. Euros rarely disappoint and it was another event with some truly great stuff.
How would you rate the tournament ? Also your best n worst moments ?
My best moment of Euro12 would be Kuba scoring that goal for Poland. While the worst would be Netherlands disappointing generally.
Would rate the tournament 7/10

I voted 8.
Really enjoyed the tournament, drama, sexy football, surprises - we saw them all. Safe to say: Great Euros.

Re: Rate the Euros 2012
I thought overall it was an excellent tourney. Much better than the World Cup two years ago.
Only two 0-0's in the whole tourney and Italy-England was one of the best 0-0's I've seen.
We got to see history been written with Spain
And we got to see the GOAT fans of Ireland.

Re: Rate the Euros 2012
I gave it a 7, albeit I was not amused that Löw's weird line-up in the semi caused Germany to be so bad that Italy could kick us out rather comfortably.

Re: Rate the Euros 2012
I gave it an 8, great.
I would've given it a 9 if the final wasn't so one-sided. I'm sure neutrals would've preferred an open game with both teams attacking and playing well.
Still, a great competition, the opening and closing ceremonies were both very good. I watched all the matches except Russia - Poland, and I enjoyed them all except France-Spain and Czech Republic - Greece.

Re: Rate the Euros 2012
I voted a perfect 10 simply because of the butthurt this tourney has produced. It's been glorious to witness.

Re: Rate the Euros 2012
I voted it a 7. The competition was better than the world cup by a mile, but the quality of football is vastly inferior to that of club football. It made up for this in excitement, though.

I remember all the racism talk before the competition. There were a few incidents here and there, but overall it's been nonexistent. A positive.

Re: Rate the Euros 2012
7/10 for me.
But all that matters is that this EURO tournament was infinitely better than the last world cup.
PRO
NO VUVUZELA's.
CON
I don't care, there were no Vuvuzela's.

Re: Rate the Euros 2012
From a point of view of personal satisfaction 10/10 since it gave me all the joy in the world.
From an analytical point of view I gave it an 8/10. My only major negative against the tournament was that all the quarter finals were very one sided and kind of boring barring the England vs. Italy game which was also one sided but not boring. The Germany vs. Italy semi final and the Spain vs. Italy final may have been one sided but they were real spectacles. So no complaints there. The group stage was good as well.
Best part - Of course Spain winning three major international tournaments in a row and becoming the first team to do so in history.
Worst part - Sweden not playing up to their potential until the last game.

Re: Rate the Euros 2012
It was alright, 6.5 out of 10.
I think it suffered in that there was an obvious lack of great teams. Spain didnt play at a high level at all untill the final. You would expect them to have to be at least somewhere near the top of their game for some sort of consistent time period.
Them aside, I dont think any of the other opponants were great teams at all.
It hurts even more that despite there being no real great times, many of the knock out games in the end were utterly yet strangely one sided.
Some games had good quality, some less so. Most were enjoyable at some level and while it wasnt as tactically facinating as I might of hoped, that element did exist.
