I like the idea of Witsel, what he's said to offer, I think that's essentially what Mou wants from the player alongside Xabi, but I just haven't seen enough of him to know for sure that the idea of him and the reality are the same thing.

He seems a good enough passer , but I just don't know if he will make the right decisions, kinda like Di Maria.

I doubt many people watched him consistently this year and he's an untested commodity.

I would take him over Modric anyday, though, simply because I don't rate Modric that highly at all.

The son of Milan President Silvio Berlusconi has said he “would love to sign Andy Carroll” for a new, younger team.

The Rossoneri have released veterans such as Alessandro Nesta, Gennaro Gattuso, Clarence Seedorf, Pippo Inzaghi, Gianluca Zambrotta and Mark Van Bommel, aiming to lower the average age of the squad.

“This is another Milan, a younger Milan, and it’s right every now and then to change and start a new project,” said Piersilvio Berlusconi in the Corriere dello Sport.

Lucio to Juve is not yet 100% official, but he is widely expected to undergo a medical in the next few days and once we see him in the string vest then it's as good as done.

Marotta is working pretty well right now in my opinion.

In all seriousness though I think this suits both parties. You want him off the wage bill, we want some experienced cover at CB with the CL looming. I don't see him playing all that often, but for the role he will play for us I see few if any better options. We'll look after him
