Re: What Ronaldo lacks? Why he never gets full credit?
One more fact that Madrid won it as a team:
Ronaldo 60 goals 15 assists (15 penalties)
Benzema 32 goals 15 assists (0 penalty)
Higuain 26 goals 10 assists (0 penalty)
Ozil 7 goals 25 assists
Benzema and Higuain didnt even play half minutes that Ronaldo played. As we can see if Benzema played full 90 minutes every game and took all penalties he would have 70 goals and 30 assists this season

Fabregas - 15 goals 18 assists
Xavi - 14 goals 14 assists
Pedro - 13 goals 3 assists
So basically CR is a top-2 player because he plays more than Benzema and Higuain and takes all penalties?

The coaches, footballers, pundits...all are deceived. Real Madrid decided to pay world record fee for this dude simply because he looked good, and SAF now feels they got bargain as he looks better with every hairstyle. But there are real footballers who depend upon true footballing abilities, for whom clubs will pay 100+m tomorrow (like Messi and and and....so many other footballers). And those people at Nike...where do these marketing managers get their education? Seriously, the world picked a random good looking Portugese guy who says who can play football but can only score tons of goals, rack up some assists, is great both on and off the ball, is an awesome athelete, heads, shoots with both legs, is a dead ball specialist, is first to come and last to leave in training, is a fierce competitor and has some few other not so important traits and made him a superstar. 2nd best my ass!

Ronaldo isn't a strong guy, Dani Alves bullies him in challenges all the time.
Nani is stronger.
Nani is stronger.

ive never seen dani alves bully ronaldo off the ball. Actually the opposite on one occasion. nani is not weak at all but ronaldo imo is defently stronger.BigBadBen wrote:Ronaldo isn't a strong guy, Dani Alves bullies him in challenges all the time.

UH-OH, so making a pass that leads to a goal is raping these days??? get out of your butt buddy, since the CL second leg last season Missi has been average against us apart from one or two passes a game that results in goals..... oh boy the length people would go to overrate a player

Messi has not been average. In fact he was the one who made the difference in the first La Liga game last season. Although he did perform up to his usual standards in the second match.
But, you must admit, Ozil was the MOTM in the second Clasico.

Again this discussion? Messi was better in every competition this year than Cronaldo. I think that's pretty obvious for everybody who watched their games, no need to go on and on about it.

Re: What Ronaldo lacks? Why he never gets full credit?
Messi is so gud he won the league and CL on his own. Oh wait. Barca is so good they won every competition there is to win this year. Oh wait.
Only people who dont understand football say Messi is obviously the best. To the ones who do understand football, choosing the better player is quite hard and most of the times impossible.
This forum gets worse by the day really. I guess everyone got sick of the Barca trolls.

tbh the only one that made the difference in that 3-1 win, was that deflected shot by Xavi that went in, all air went out of the players stomachs by then lol.... Then you have that brilliant cross by Alves that found Cesc, Missi didn't do anything that had me thinking ohh wow we could've lost by more there... the fact that he had to wait over 15 mins to get a touch on the ball says it all or that he had to go all the way down to DMs to do so, i am not saying he was completely FOTM because there were worse players, but to say Missi dominated when he didn't is just a fallacy

every competition??? LaLiga he definitely wasn't, Copa he wasn't, CL he was but against the Leverkusens, every ball has to go through Missi or else you get slaughtered ask Ibra.... Missi had an average season deal with it

Messi did not dominate but he was one who created the first goal when everyone were pinned back by the Madrid pressing. He was the one who made the difference in that match.
Look, i did not want to get into this, but Messi by no means had an average season. He scored a record -breaking number of goals last season and that definitely does not qualify as an average season.
