Its very interesting he is considered second best player he scores 2 goals but many are not impressed. Is this because of his lack of football abilities or is it because of his character? is this because he doesnt do more than obvious or he doesnt do anything except than scoring? So who is C.Ronaldo: a truly top-2 player in the world or just a top-2 goalscorer?

A highly skilled player who is hyped up to be the second coming of Ted Nugent due to OTT stepovers and skills. Deadly poacher, but terrible team player unless talked to by the manager/coach. Let's what other people are doing dictate his mood.

He's a greedy player.
He's a great goalscorer... thats about it really.
Ibrahimovic, Ribery, Iniesta, Pirlo, Xavi and ofcourse Messi are much better.
I as a United fan, would honestly rather keep Wayne Rooney than trade him for Ronaldo. (hypothetically)

Overall play HE is nowhere at the top. He is a great scorer though. I think he might break more records if he plays as ST.

He's a great athlete. He has a body second to none, and I'm not talking aesthetics.
He gets a lot of attention and supply from his team-mates.
When he doesn't, he is an average player at best.
He's a poacher, however he misses the target half the time he shoots.
Personally I would have Ribéry, Iniesta, Zlatan, Robben and Xavi over him. And Messi of course.

I guess that is someone else's choice. For example RVP has 10 times more skills & creativity as ST but cant score half Ronaldo's goals.
IT depends on what people like.
Ronaldo has gone way down skill wise since United days. He can barely get passed a good defender or make a great past. Its just that his Movement is getting deadlier. And deadlier. And he scores a lot.

I agree he is great at scoring. Not because he is a great finisher (he is not even top-10 finisher) but because he has speed and strong shoot and this makes him to score more
but at overall play i dont believe he is top-2...but media makes him to be..so maybe thats why many are not impressed because as a top-2 player they want more from him

He is amazingly greedy but due to him just shooting and shooting and shooting he scores eventually. He's had about 8 shots a game so far in euros and scored 2.
But for me my view of him is tainted because he is simply unlikable as a person, as an athlete though I do enjoy watching him occasionally.

He can do everything, that's why I think he is the second best : he is fast, he can shoot, he can dribble(max. 3 players at best in the same action, but he is good), he is strong, has improved his passing, vision, teamwork and decision making dramatically since he came to Real, he can score with his left, right, head and from free kicks, and he's a leader.

He goes down like a sack of shit all the time. He's about as strong as a paper clip.
He can't dribble at all.
His passing, teamwork & decision making, were much better at MUFC, and have always been below par.
His conversion rate from free kicks, is like 0.5%.
And he couldn't lead cereal into a bowl.
P.S The guy in you signature is much, much better than Ronaldo.

I think he's done more than enough to deserve the Ballon D'Or this year, hope this would be the second of many more to come for him.
