Ukraine matched France in the first 45 minutes. France's attacks are too slow and stationary, one man has the ball and the rest are happy to stand around watching him. But both teams are right in this game.

he did great today with his ball holding, passing and movement. The lack of pace had clearly shown....but he barely see the goal :/

France played great. They had so many clear chances

Two good moments by France were enough.
Diarra did fine job in the middle helping the defence.
Benzema with two assists, wasn't it?
Menez was lucky not to be sent off, but a good goal.

The header by mexes? The post by Cabaye? The two shots missed by Menez?

We should have score at least 4. Totally dominated the match. Ukraine had only had one opportunity.

You're right, France had other good chances to score than just those two, but I guess I meant two well-taken goals by France were enough. Not every player would have scored those.

But Ukraine did well apart from finding those key passes near the penalty box.

France are just strong....Blanc even able to bring players on to rest the starters after 2-0 up....Ukraine just werent good enough and it showed.... oh well... France to top the group!
