Buffon or Cech?

Who is the better keeper?

I personally say Buffon because he has an overall better career and has done much better this season. But, I still rate Cech in my top 5.

Edit:

Buffon has played 35 matches in the Serie A and allowed 16, Cech has played 34 matches in EPL and allowed 39 goals.

To Cech's credit, our defense was HORRENDOUS under AVB. We let in so many goals it wasn't even funny. This was probably his worst season in his Chelsea career when you consider the amount of goals let in overall(thanks to the clueless ginger).

That being said, Buffon is arguably the greatest ever. He has had a very wonderful career and I bet he'd be on some people's all-time starting XI if they were to make a list.

I agree during the AVB reign Chelsea was complete garbage. Puts a bad stain on Cech's career because he clearly didn't deserve to let in that many goals.

Buffon is the best goalkeeper in the last 10 years...
Cech is a great GK and i rate him in top 5, but Gigi has more experience and is a world cup winner.

Even though big Pete is among the top 5 or so GKs in the world right now, Buffom is probably amongst the top 5 or so GKs to ever play football, so you'd have to take Buffon. Although theres really no shame in being beaten by Buffon in this case

not comprable imo.

one has had a much better career overall, and the same player has had a much better season.. unless we are comparing trophies this season which i dont think is incredibly relevant to player ability
