When you're that famous you can't really please everybody, if he signed the shirt then it could of caused him problems with the media making up nonsense stories about wanting to play for Barca next.

All in all it's his right to sign whatever he wants, and he has to be careful of protecting his is image so he probably made the wrong choice but you can see why he rejected?? It would be way worse if the girl was wearing a madrid/portugl shirt.
Anyway imagine having to sign shirts all your career when you are that famous. Whatever the income, it'll get to you sooner or later he cant sign every shit.
