No, it makes him a blunt instrument. "Get ball. Step over. Shoot ball. Wash, rinse, and repeat."

Lukaku may yet turn into a good player, but I haven't seen anything out of him to make me think he's going to be starting 11 material for Chelsea. A loan would be the best thing to judge his potential in the Prem League.

I might be alone in this, but I think Sturridge still has a future as a starter, just maybe not at Chelsea. With Mata, Lampard, Hazard, Meireles and potentially Hulk, I don't see him getting as many chances as he wants (or needs to develop fully). He's only turning 23 in the fall. I could see him being a very good wide forward for another team in the next few years. The problem with Sturridge is that he seems convinced he's a CF, and has become too eager to prove himself as a primary goalscorer at Chelsea, resulting in a lot of head down running on the opposing goal. He needs to move to a different club and allow himself to fit into a system.

^^ well said, his attitude if used properly can be turned to platinum lol.. I think he will get more chances of being a proper CF this season... with Drogba gone he is the second choice, or maybe first choice CF. With the large number of games played throughout the season he will get his chances to prove himself.
