Dinho back in la Liga would be epic
Why? He'd show up to games drunk stumbling over the ball. He wouldn't even play in Malaga's first XI lol...
exactly. people still expect one single moment of genius from him, but it is not worth it. ask any flamengo fan. ronaldinho's been done for 6 years now, he's a former footballer. his moments of genius at ac milan or even at flamengo were not enough. he's just a name now. a brand, if you will. he's good for a club for some time because he drags media attention and sponsorship. but he doesn't really do anything for your team in the long run. in the end, he's a waste of money. i lost what little faith i still had in him when he chose flamengo over gremio. right then then i knew that it wasn't about football for him any longer.

Re: Ronaldinho quits Flamengo
so, if ronaldinho does get the 40 million reais (app. 16 million euros), it will mean that Flamengo paid him 1.5 million reais for each goal he scored for them. lol.
that boy couldve been great, but no. he was hated by Gremio because of the way he left, he had bad and good moments at PSG, was a hero at Barca who turned into villain because of his drinking and carelessness, a benchwarmer at ac milan for a long time, and a joke at flamengo.
he couldve been up there, top 3..

Wow, I don`t really watch the Brazilian league but I thought he was doing pretty well since he was even picked in the national squad a while back.
But like don`t agents like guide their players and stuff? I know people partly like crazy in Brazil but cant his agent advise him to balance his life??
I mean its sad to see him in this situation.

Well, last year I think he had like 5-6 mediocre months - nothing special that would explain his high wages; then he had like 1 month really good month when he was good against Santos and such, and after that it's just been waaaaay downhill. He was picked by Brazil because of his performances against Santos and stuff, but actually by the time he was picked he was already back in mediocre/bad form. When he was picked at the beginning of this year, it was because our coach didn't want to look incoherent.
His agent is his brother, and he's not a good example at all. So...
Few players have been more hated by their own fans/former fans than Ronaldinho..
