sportsczy wrote:Ligue 1 is very physical and the defenses very good. Pastore got destroyed and had to learn to commit himself physically... once they fgured out his dribbling tendencies, the door was shut. He slowly learned to actually play football as opposed to a circus act.
If Lavezzi comes with the attitude that Pastore did, he will get crushed too. Very simple.
yeah funny how people discredit the league without even watching. Ligue 1 lacks star power, but the teams are highly disciplined, tactically sound and very physical. Pastore thought Real and Barca would be chasing him this summer, but he got outplayed so badly it's not even funny.

Re: Lavezzi to PSG
Don't know how people still complain about money. What's a little more competition to you guys anyway?
Good signing by PSG, btw. They should focus on Giroud next, IMO. And let go one of Luyindula, Gameiro, or Hoarau.
Also, it looks like Ligue 1 is still underestimated by some.

Luyindula would be the one that will probably get let go, LH
As for Lavezzi. Top signing on paper if this goes through, but I have no idea of the type of impact he'll make for PSG in his first season honestly.
Also....End of the Three Tenors

Luyindala is the 3rd CF. One of Gameiro or Hoarau will be the 2nd CF. Once they sign a lead CF, Gameiro is going to be sold is the word out there...

Money has always been in control.... any club that got success in the past did so with money and payrolled by some businessman...
It's just on a larger scale now.
Also most people were making fun of the fact that the people complaining were a chelsea and a man city fan.....

Thats not true.
FFP has actually screwed Inter Meelan
Re: Lavezzi to PSG
Lol at Money never featured this hard.
The Italian clubs and Madrid were the ones that ruined the market.
Selling Ronaldo for £80m was the final nail in the coffin.

Like chelsea never ruined market ^^^
you were offering all the players ridiculous wages bro..market=/= transfer fee alone

Re: Lavezzi to PSG
You've consistently had the highest wage bill in Europe since the Redondo & Hierro days. Stop it.
No doubt City and Chelsea played their part in ruining the market though.
Domestically anyway.
Andy f*king Carroll wouldn't have been worth 35m if it wasn't for the sugardaddies.

Re: Lavezzi to PSG
tbh chelsea and city ruined the market much more, at least madrid and the like were overpaying for stars, sugardaddies were dropping money on dogshit players like duff and barry... now every club asks for utterly unreasonable amount for any half decent player because they have a precedent for it

Re: Lavezzi to PSG
Madrid makes money though. We don't count on sugardaddies.... it's against the law for Madrid to get private investors. The club is owned by the Socios (season ticket holders).
Give me a call when CIty, Chelsea, PSG, Milan, Inter, etc. actually make a profit like we do.

Re: Lavezzi to PSG
Because we had the best squad at that time.
Currently Barca have the highest wages.
Chelsea offered some god damn amount of wages to Makalele lol..reason why he asked for a pay rise to us but we denied..
Chelsea did the first mass injuction of money into football in a small period ,so pretty sure chelsea will be in the first raw when talk about market ruiners.

Week 0: Simpson hires Mole as his agent.
Week 1: Mole: Simpson is amongst the best British defenders
Week 2: Mole: Simpson is the best British defender and should start for our NT, it's outrageous that he doesn't
Week 3: Mole: Newcastle should accept nothing less than 20M for his signature, Barca and Real are already interested and he's more than capable of starting for them.
Week 4: Mole: He is worth 30M
Week 5: Mole: He is worth 40M
Week 6: Mole: He is worth 50M
Week 7: Simpson is sold to PSG for 34M

not really, they either make their money or legitimately borrow it, because they can afford to repay it... not saying i agree with it, but madrid actually have a business model, unlike the GIVE ME MOAR MONEYYYYY system employed by chelsea and city

Re: Lavezzi to PSG
Just how do you people think the Milan era of the late 80s started? Their business model? No, it was due to large cash injections by the owner, Berlusconi. And now no one remembers that and they only remember the team and the titles.

Re: Lavezzi to PSG
Why don't you pull out the audited financial statements for Real Madrid (they are public and available on the official site) and the Deloitte & Touche annual football reports.... we make money organically. Our debt coverage ratio is actually high and very healthy. We could borrow a lot more and cover it easily. We run profits every year now. FFP has absolutely zero effect on us.
