Re: Which club will Guardiola go to next?
Inter yes would be a good move for him.
Milan have a corrupt owner and are only going downhill wouldn't be a good thing for him. At least not a smart move.

Re: Which club will Guardiola go to next?
Moratti have had Pep in his plans ever since Mourinho left and only last year we were heavily linked with him. If Pep is being linked with Milan then it depends on how willing he is to cut his vacation and take the job at a less than ideal timing. On the other hand Inter can afford to wait and they're no strangers to this kind of deals, like when we hired Mourinho we signed him right after he was sacked by chelsea but he never arrived until the next season.

The way I see it:
1) Brescia
2) Catalonia
Last) Inter
No team is less suited for Pep's style than Inter or Chelsea, it would be stupid of him to go there.

It's not a matter of your current style, it's a matter of players.

Re: Which club will Guardiola go to next?
When you're talking about Guardiola arriving at one of the Milan clubs you also have to take the transfer budget into account along with the high wages he commands.Guardiola is not some magician to straight away integrate youth academy players into the 1st team like he did at Barcelona and that was cuz he was a B-team coach as well,he knew the La Masia players in and out.
The scenario is going to be different at the Milan clubs and i'm sure he would want to have a reasonable transfer budget to work with from a starting point.
And as for Guardiola at one of the Milan clubs being a reality ,i think Inter would need help from those Chinese investors if they really want to pull off such a move.
And Milan on the other hand i believe cant afford him at this point by Berlusconi alone and they would need Russian or Arab intervention to make it a possibility.

That counter attacking team is long gone. Inter's line up is more suited for the passing game than you might think.

Re: Which club will Guardiola go to next?
@Jibers: Rijkard had a prime Ronaldinho as well as many other great players and never got the praise that Pep did. If Pep were in the market right now the best he could do would definitely not be Galatasaray.
@Bhends: You seriously want Pep in charge of your transfers? Good grief, just get Simeone and replace 3 positions with great players. Would work much better in your favor.
@Vibe: Perhaps. I haven't seen them yet this season so maybe you have a point.

Obviously it is going to be hard to replicate what he did at Barcelona, if he joins any Italian club. The football is at a slower pace and the youth are not as technically gifted as the Spaniards. Added to to the fact he managed the Barcelona B team and formed good relationships with players like Busquets and Pedro, it is going to be a tougher task. Your first point about Barcelona having the trio of Messi, Xavi, and Iniesta within their ranks - meaning that they did all the work etc. - is void. When Guardiola took over, neither one of those players were at the top of their game. The last two had great Euro 2008 campaigns which did boost their confidence undoubtedly, but the side was not assembled, as you are wrongly trying to allude to. Dead-weight - Ronaldinho and Deco, both of whom caused problems in the past with clubbing - was removed from the equation. Messi was put on a new training regime thus he is no longer plagued by silly injuries. There are so many things Guardiola did, and for someone to say they had three world class players (bare in mind that Messi was never world class) is playing on a thin line of ignorance, when there is so much more involved.

Re: Which club will Guardiola go to next?
It's astonishing how little some people know about the Milan clubs here. Here are some popular misconceptions:
1. Berlusconi does not have money.
Berlusconi is worth somewhere between 3-6 billion euros. Because of FFP he has decided to go into austerity mode. The player sales of TS and Ibra were needed to cover the club's debt of approx 68 million euros. The problem is that he failed to put in place the proper structures before the club went into austerity. Namely, a new stadium arrangement and increased investment in the youth team. Even though these two things are not counted in FFP, there is little chance of Berlusconi making such an investment now seeing as Europe is in financial crisis (and he probably still has political ambitions). Consequently, Milan will be forced to spend very little on players and rely on our youth academy to a greater extent (unless a foreign investor comes in). This lack of foresight and the suspicion that the club's management have taken some of the funds for themselves is why Berlusconi is strongly disliked by many Milan fans these days.
2. Inter have money and their owner is not corrupt.
Inter are in a very similar situation with no more access to money from Moratti than Milan does from Berlusconi. Juve fans will be only too happy to give people a run down of Morrati's role in Calciopoli - but that's a can of worms that I'd like to avoid bringing up again.
3. Inter still plays on the counter and are entrenched in that style.
Complete crap said by people who clearly haven't seen Inter this season.

Pep will go to Milan to meet up with Bojan, plus I believe he wouldn't go to Inter considering that's the club Mourinho succeeded in and he wont hear the end of it if he fails.

If he indeed is going for Milan or Inter I think hes going with Inter. He was heavily linked with them last season and I dont think anyone would save Milan right now.Theyre in a real crisis.

It would be so funny if Inter wins the CL with Pep playing a possession style when just a few years ago they won with a counter-attacking style.

except that we've been in the situation you are in now 2 years ago and now we're in a safe position regarding FFP
