No German move for Giaccherini

The representative of Emanuele Giaccherini has dismissed interest from Wolfsburg by insisting the player will stay at Juventus.

The midfielder has been paired with the German outfit in recent weeks given that his future is unclear as he is co-owned by Juve and Cesena.

“I have no information about Wolfsburg and neither does my associate Furio Valcareggi,” agent Giulio Marinelli noted to TMW.

“There has been no contact and there is no option of such a future for Giaccherini.

“The player is happy to stay at Juventus and I’m convinced that a deal will be done with Cesena at some stage soon.”

Midfielder Giaccherini, 27, scored one goal in 23 League games for the Italian champions this season.
