Hazard has a lot of nerve saying anything when he just stared at Juanfran like that letting them in.

If Chelsea wanted a lazy midfielder on the pitch they should have kept Mata. He is probably on bought time now.

Thing is, and folks dont want to see it, but I dont see exactly what he adds over Schürrle. Schürrle puts in a good shift, gets a fair amount of goals, and does exactly what you ask of him. Sure he has bad matches, but Hazard does too. Difference is when Schürrle plays crap he is benched for like 2 games, and when Hazard plays crap he is allowed to stay on the pitch to play himself back into form.

Hazard wants out, which is the point. I don't think you buy a Hazard with the idea of having him play a disciplined game in a PTB scheme... he's not that kind of player and, frankly, he has every right to rebel with being used like that.

Chelsea PTB against every good team ffs. It's ridiculous. It's not like he's facing Barca or a Guardiola team every time either.

So again Mourinho hides behind sarcasm.

One thing that is true though is the fact that Hazard is not one who will run back and defend so Mou using him in that role obviously backfired. Schurrle would have been the far better choice in this game

Ronaldo criticised his approach as well so it's not like Hazard is the only one who has done it

Hazard isnt good enough to rebel against a manager like Mourinho, and he also isnt good enough to expect free reign in a top side.

Frankly if he thinks hes too good to put a shift in, then he can go be a star of some club like Monaco where nobody will care.

This is a guy who has had 3, maybe 4 dominate games ALL SEASON. None in the Champions League if we are going to be honest either. You cant blame him not being able to unlock low table sides on Mou's defensive philosophy either.

This is a guy, who lost his man twice(although the third goal was tough), to give up two goals going to the press talking crap. The same guy doing his press interview in a PSG shirt after getting spanked by them(you know before Schurrle massively bailed them out).

Not even rafa benitez would take such crap from a player. People may tell him hes on ronaldo/messi level, but he isnt. Glad Mourinho put him in his place.

If Hazard is clearly not good at tracking the full back he shouldn't be asked to do so.

Asking a player to do something he clearly can't do well just limits the player and hinders the overall system that the team is playing. I personally think considering what is expected from a wide player at Chelsea atm that Schurrle is the better player of the two but you can't just bench Hazard. It's Mourinho's job to get the best out of Hazard while not exposing his set up.

Mourinho is facing the same problem he had at Real minus the fact that Hazard is replaceable whereas Ronaldo isn't. He failed to find a solution at Madrid and I don't think he ever will at Chelsea

Who is Hazard to talk shite like that btw. The guy has two goals in CL in two whole seasons and hasn't scored an open goal in three months. Ok if he was carrying Chelsea on his back and was forced to do something he didn't want to but he has been pretty ordinary and shouldn't have audacity to say things like that. How much of a disgrace can you be talking to the media in a shirt of a club you are rumoured to join Laughing
