make robben the scapegoat all you want, but no one else had the balls to bring the ball out of midfield.

hate him for being selfish or wasting chances but at least he wasnt a ghost like gomez and half of the bayern offense/midfield. what did kroos do? i forgot he was playing.

Robben in the 90 minutes was very Good. He was by far Bayern's Best player on the pitch & created half a dozen chances alonge.

But that cant cover for this. You cant miss a penalty in a CHL final. Although I dont want to blame someone for a PK miss but it cost us the title. And in the Extra Time 30 minutes Robben was horrid apart from the 1 brilliant Lahm pass.

I think Robben was mentally destroyed after taking the penalty. Kept shooting to make up for this miss. It only got worse.

He certainly had a much better game than say Ribery who did nothing. But that can discount this. Robben's penalty could have won us the MATCH.
