Ganso's agent and partial owners have landed in Milan!!

Ganso is wonderful but playing him in 3 man mf is suicide.Though He can do good behind the strikers.

Ganso should be the AM

I prefer we move for another CM. It could be Strootman. Or maybe even revive an interest in Hamsik.

I too would prefer Ganso as AM and Boa as LCM, but I think Allegri will play Ganso as LCM... With Ganso and Emmanuelson on the left, we will be unbeleivable attacking wise.

Isn't Strootman a classic DM just like Van Bommel? I can't see us playing Montolivo in DM and Strootman as a RCM, seems counter-intuitive to me.

Hopefully Allegri will experiment with Ganso and Boateng, seeing who is better an AM/LCM. Ganso could be a Pirlo/Xavi type player in the 3 man midfield as well in my opinion.

Strootman is not a destroyer like Van Bommel, he is a deep lying playmaker that is played in front of the defense. AM reconverted like Pirlo, but his huge physique help him a lot in defense. He isn't the guy to sit deep and break plays, he is a passing outlet. If you guys are looking for a DM to protect the back four horizontally, someone that specializes in breaking plays, he is not the man for that.

Every time I've seen Ganso play, he has played LCM

IF we bought Ganso, I'm pretty sure our midfield would look like this:

Nocerino - Montolivo - Ganso

---------------Prince

Nocerino isn't the best on the right, but he's gonna have to adapt.

I haven't watched Ganso enough to accurately assess him in both AM or LCM, but it's safe to assume either that or Prince and Ganso will swap positions and the rest will stay the same.
