Its a possibility of course, but if they didn't go down this year, I think the chances of them going down decrease dramatically because now they get dat revenue increase...

Re: Reports: Dalglish out/leaving Liverpool
Forget Gardiola
He doesnt know or understand "The Liverpool way"
Realistically the only possible candidates are Kevin Keegan, John Toshack, Ian Rush, John Barnes and Ray Clemence.

Re: Reports: Dalglish out/leaving Liverpool
Clarke is actually decent. He's the reason Liverpool's defence has been as good as it has been this season. He's a defensive mastermind ad he worked with Mou at Chelsea. I reckon he'd put in a better shift than Kenny.Great Leader Sprucenuce wrote:Some of them prefer Steve Clark to Martinez or Rodgers

Re: Reports: Dalglish out/leaving Liverpool
I am no one to tell the mods how to do their job but can we please lock this thread till tomorrow AT LEAST, out of respect for a legend who has been disgracefully sacked after a single f**king season? It makes me nauseous to see people expressing faux surprise and then immediately following it up with "Bring back X, Y f**king Z..."..
For f**ks sake , its just been announced..
Rawk really is taking this especially hard...

Re: Reports: Dalglish out/leaving Liverpool
The lack of CL football hurts Liverpool so so so much when it comes to attracting talent...players or coaches
Look at Juve...they had to make the perfect signings and hire a coach from within the organization because they couldn't sign the stars they wanted and couldn't find a coach with the quality or resume they wanted...
Liverpool are in a very similar situation

Just get Rafa and be done with it. He is a WC manager and he can bring Liverpool back up into the top 4 again.

Especially with Suarez there. He may even make something decent out of Downing.kiranr wrote:Just get Rafa and be done with it. He is a WC manager and he can bring Liverpool back up into the top 4 again.

Re: Reports: Dalglish out/leaving Liverpool
As much as I dislike Dogleash and Liverpool.
I have to say I think its pretty harsh the way they have done it. Making him fly out to america then giving him the push. They should have made some effort and showed some respect coming to Liverpool them selfs.
Thats if the reports of hi being summoned to Boston are true.
There are also unconfirmed reports Clarke has been given the boot aswell.

So did Suarez cost Kenny his job?
His suspension hurt Liverpool, not doubt about it.

I would love to see Pep manage Liverpool though. Just to see what he does.

Re: Reports: Dalglish out/leaving Liverpool
All liverpool players are responsible for this and kenny himself is to be blamed for bringing utter average players to the club.
Re: Reports: Dalglish out/leaving Liverpool
Yh iam aware Clarke is a good coach from his time at Newcastle but a manager he is not.....
anyway back to Rawk
Wait lol..... Did they summon him all the way to America to sack him? excellent this just gets better and better...
I am starrting to really like this guy

I personally think this does play a large part of it
Listening to talk sport someone rang up and mentioned it was Standerd charters AGM last week.
Someone had to get up and defend the decision to continue the sponsorship deal relating to the Suarez affair.
