So we got Mudingayi on loan...

Quick Updates:
nothing new on Maicon, looks like he's staying
Casta's deal might not work out after the clubs failed to agree on a price
Nothing new in Pazzo's link with Juvi who are now targeting Jovetic
Lucas isnt gonna happen
Cesar is being linked with Arsenal
Stanko and all the other rumored exists are just rumors
all in all, our market is over

Re: Summer 2012 Transfers Thread
Lucas is not a target imo. It's just to make the fans happy. Just like the Sanchez/Tevez/Lavezzi rumours. Moratti coming out and declaring how he wants the player says it all. I remember he use to deny rumours even when the agent of a said player was in his office.

but if twente is willing to pay 7m for someone who made less appearances than muntari you start to wonder if it was a wise decision
When it comes to Jong Oranje teams Castaignos is probably the highest scoring ST ever. Ahead of RVN,Kluivert,RVP,Huntelaar,Van Basten, etc.
That by no means makes him anything good but shows he has talent to be somewhat good in the future.
He scored like 17 goals in 30+ matches for Feyenoord when they were like No.10 odd & were loosing matches 0-10 to the likes of PSV & stuff.
Castaignos is considered a HUGE HUGE talent. I think Twente is confident in 2 years they can probably get 20-25M on him & that he can break into the Oranje National Team.

The hunt for a forward continues
Inter are thought to be preparing a bid for Bayer Leverkusen striker Andre Schurrle as a cheaper alternative to Lucas Moura and Gaston Ramirez.
The Nerazzurri are eager to sign a new creative forward for this season, although first choice Lucas of San Paolo is in talks with Manchester United.
Another option is Bologna’s trequartista Ramirez, but a new name has appeared on their wish-list.
It is reported in Tuttosport that Inter are planning a proposal for Bayer Leverkusen forward Schurrle.
The 21-year-old is a full Germany international and has a contract with Bayer until June 2016.
meanwhile Pablo Daniel Osvaldo’s agent has confirmed “it’s possible he will leave Roma. "Many clubs are interested, including Inter.”
The striker’s future is up in the air after the Giallorossi signed Mattia Destro for an eventual €19m.
“Could Osvaldo leave Roma? Yes, he could, it’s possible, but I am not sure,” agent Dario Decoud told Romanews.eu.
“Malaga? Yes, many clubs are interested, including Inter. It depends on Roma and what they want to do. I don’t know. Anything is possible in football.”
The 26-year-old also stated yesterday that he wanted to remain at the Olimpico, but noted it was not entirely up to him

Re: Summer 2012 Transfers Thread
what we need is not a triquertista (since we have many players who can cover this position). we need a creative attacker who can help sneijder in building up the attacks.

we had the option to buy him for 5m but since he didnt play often the buy out option wasnt automatically excuted. We were still interested but Samp used this to raise the price from 5m to 6.5m so we dropped the deal

that's them raising the price 30% more. I don't blame Inter on this one... it's more like a "you're going to do that to us, screw you".

BREAKING NEWS: AGREEMENT WITH SAO PAULO FOR LUCAS
On August 2, 2012 by Michael
A sensational breakthrough. As revealed by Sky, the technical director of Inter Marco Branca is not coming back to Italy tomorrow because there is an agreement with Sao Paulo for the talented Brazilian winger. Branca is negotiating with a vengeance and there is the agreement in principle. Further more, Lucas has guaranteed that he will choose Inter.
Here is the offer from Inter. The Nerazzurri have presented an offer of about 27 million euros and could go as high as 30-32 million with bonuses. According to Sky, this agreement is linked to team performance as well as individual performance by Lucas.
So now, the ball is up to Massimo Moratti. The Inter president must decide whether to invest this money. So Branca is staying in Brazil to close the deal in the next few days if he has the OK from Moratti. This time, Inter have Lucas in their palm.

Re: Summer 2012 Transfers Thread
i dont know why im not so interested in him, although he is very talented. maybe bcz im afraid he will take the place of coutinho, or maybe bcz im afraid we have to sell sneijder, although he is playing like a beast under stramma. lets see what will happen

Re: Summer 2012 Transfers Thread
Sniejder is a completely different player from Lucas so there isnt a need to sell him unless its financial. We dont need to worry about Coutinho as he's been beasting lately and you can tell that Stramma loves him. The lad will get enough time on the field seeing how he can fit in 3 different positions with ease. The player im worried about though is Alvarez, the guy will struggle to get minutes and that's a shame after his great showings last season.

we may sell pazzini and make palacio a backup for milito, so we will have coutinho sneijder lucas behind him, so alvarez and palacio will be the first option substitutes

Moratti: 'Inter give up on Lucas'
Massimo Moratti has confirmed Inter are pulling out of the race for Lucas Moura. “There are no regrets, as the €45m PSG offered are completely illogical.”
Good job Moratti, we signed Vieri and Ronaldo for less than 45m, not some unproven 19 year old.
