Meh, he was injured for an important part of last season and they managed without him. With him they're very good, but without him I'd still say they would be comfortably 2nd best.

He was clinical when presented with his chances but the overreaction in this thread is absurd. He's played far better games than this in the past. The effort to win the penalty initially was the best play he made all game, his second and third goals were absolute gifts, hardly demonstrative of his admitted talent.

Well to be fair to him, Bayern were doing a good job of controlling the ball and disconnecting him from the midfielders yet he still managed to press until the game ended and take his chances
