Re: Mercato Rossonero: Milan Transfer Activity Inside Out
Forza Rossoneri wrote:AC Milan legend Dejan Savicevic has claimed that he advised his old club to sign Stevan Jovetic before his fellow Montenegrin joined Serie A rivals Fiorentina.
The Viola paid a reported €8 million to FK Partizan to secure the services of the forward in 2008, but the former Rossoneri attacker has claimed that his compatriot could have been plying his trade at San Siro by then.
“Six years ago I advised director Ariedo Braida to buy him for Milan,” Savicevic told TMW. “He didn’t listen ..."
Earlier this season Jovetic signed a new contract with Fiorentina which tied him to the Artemio Franchi until 2016 but that has not put an end to speculation linking the 22-year-old with a move away. Savicevic is in no doubt that the Titograd native belongs on the biggest stage.
“He can play for any club in the world,” the president of the Montenegrin Football Association declared. “He’s demonstrated some great qualities.
"Just think back to what he’s done over the years. Do you remember the game against Liverpool in the Champions League?
“We are talking about a great talent. His future will depend on what Fiorentina decide to do on the transfer market.”
Savicevic spent six years with the Rossoneri and is best remembered for his spectacular strike in Milan's demolition of Barcelona in the 1994 Champions League final.
braida...
on axel witsel deal as well...

on eriksen
“The Rossoneri had a chance to sign him a couple of years ago when [Thomas] Helveg advised him to management but they did not find a financial agreement with Odense, - his agent...
in the end ajax bought him for like 1 million....

Massimiliano Allegri is set to stay in charge of AC Milan next season.
And the Corriere dello Sport says the coach's priority is a radical overhaul of his ageing defence.
Out will go veterans Alessandro Nesta and Gianluca Zambrotta, plus the underperforming Philippe Mexes. Their departures will make room for Chievo defender Francesco Acerbi, Palermo's Matias Silvestre and Genoa stopper Andreas Granqvist.
The future of Thiago Silva is also under a cloud. The Brazilian could be cashed in to fund further Milan signings. Barcelona and PSG are monitoring developments.
--------------------------------
hope its not true, its a joke that mexes will be asked to leave for Matias Silvestre .... he aint a good defender at all, acerbi is too unexperienced to be thrown at first team.
allegri should be preferring thiago silva mexes partnership for long term should nesta leave for MLS... i would be pissed if allegri prefers others ahead of mexes ....

If we are going to be stingy, let's at least do it right. Buy lots of young talent at a low price and sell the decent/good ones later at a high price. The only difference between us and a 'selling club' will be that we won't sell the great talents. It's clear that out transfer people have no idea when it comes to youth, so let's just buy as many as we can and develop them all!

Sounds awful. Ageing defence... that's no problem relative to our ageing midfield.

An article that addresses our "aging defence" without mentioning Yepes. I don't believe we should let Mexes go unless someone comes in with a serious offer, though that's always a possibility given his quality. I do want a partner for Silva found though for the first team, given that even if Nesta stays he'll probably be given a lighter playing load.
The article is just throwing names at us though, we certainly won't bring in all three.

yeah... that technical decision also incl. braida... sincerely speaking about him i just question his ability to make right call to galliani.
its a huge mess with our management atm with youth or players we buy.
also i hate how our management prefers players based on form, than class or talent *potential or attributes

i hope so, these articles is painful circling around us, but as we all know, the italian media are so powerful that football bosses get easily intimidated by them and buy players they write out of the blue....

Re: Mercato Rossonero: Milan Transfer Activity Inside Out
acerbi is probably coming but hopefully not matias silvestre... he is ok for mid table team but def. not milan!!! absolutely not...
mexes is still a good defender, a still good ball playing CB. allegri would be a fool to cast aside him and prefer others.... with the exception of renowned proven world class defender.
if mexes were to leave like dostovsky said only for a top quality defender of silva calibre. would have been great if we swap mexes for sakho of PSG... lately he has a fallout with ancelotti, plus he says Nesta has a big inspiration on him.
other nice option would be Cristián Zapata of Villarreal.

If this is true, we should go for Sahin as soon as possible.

would have loved to see sahin. actually there was article in milannews.it saying that milan had inquired for sahin in january but real said no.
but seems we have montolivo already dont think we will be eyeballing sahin anymore.
sahin is 100000000000 x better than montolivo though. and younger.

If both Seedorf and Aquilani leave we'll need two creative midfielders, not one. Ideally Montolivo's transfer shouldn't affect our pursuit of a classy creative midfielder, however I don't trust Galliani. Knowing Uncle Fester he'd bring in Lass and Altintop instead.

lol yeah ... its strange with galliani. but wished if allegri had influence on him bringing technical player. we all know our midfield is comprised more with defensive players than creative ones. if allegri had balls to ask for creative ones....
our club has a rule that coach are not allowed to buy players they recommend, only ask which position of players they want and the rest will fall in the hands of galliani and braida, and braida is basically that makes technical decisions and tells galliani. i have huge problem with braida decision making of late....
in that respect leonardo was better in bringing great players its unfortunate berlusconi spat on his face...

We will probably get Lass if we were to push for anyone of those players

Rumors going on that Milan won't buy Maxi Lopez for 8 million(the buyout clause)..We'll only consider if Catania reduce the price to 4 milion

Re: Mercato Rossonero: Milan Transfer Activity Inside Out
Mathieu Flamini is being paired with former club Marseille as a summer move away from Milan looks almost certain.
The midfielder is one of 10 players at San Siro with contracts expiring and a Bosman switch is on the horizon.
Flamini joined the Rossoneri in the summer of 2008 on a free transfer after his contract at Arsenal ran down. Juventus were also very keen.
The Frenchman has never been a regular in the Rossoneri starting XI and he’s not played at all this season.
He’s now back to full fitness after knee ligament damage, but recently aired his frustration at not being given a chance by boss Massimiliano Allegri.
Flamini is Milan’s second highest paid player at the club. His €4.5m annual salary is only lower than Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s €9m wage.
Possible destinations for the international include Marseille, an outfit where he started his career before his 2004 switch to the Premiership.

Don't let the door hit you on the way out. Second highest paid player in the squad, just kill me where I stand.

I knew that he was 2nd highest paid. The reason is that he was signed on a free transfer in great form and was expected to be a huge success. Do Marseille have any good players that we could get in exchange?

I already knew, however hearing it repeated was like being stabbed in the heart. He'll be leaving without compensation, though even then there's no one in Marseille I'd be interested in. Azpi and Valbuena are the only players who come to mind and we have their positions covered already.

Re: Mercato Rossonero: Milan Transfer Activity Inside Out
These are the words of Pescara's sporting director, Daniele Delli Carri - "We were negociating with Juve for Verratti, but this opportunity is now diminished. At moment he could go to Milan or Inter. Tere's even the possibility of staying at Pescara" This is a take it or leave it opportunity, Juventus have clearly failed on their first attempt, hopefully Galliani has Pescara on speed dial!

Get in there Galliani, so I can stop missing Pirlo. He'll be very raw still, however we simply can't let Juventus buy him.
