If we sign Acerbi, I don't really care what happens to Astori or where he goes
I don't trust Astori yet.

I consider them about the same
Reports are suggesting we signed Traore from Nancy on a Bosman transfer

From what I am reading it looks like we will have another pathetic transfer season. So disappointing...

Re: Mercato Rossonero: Milan Transfer Activity Inside Out
Would you take Krasic on the cheap/free next transfer season?
We're not linked to him, but this seems like exactly the kind of opportunistic signing that Galliani would go for...
Pros
- Technique
- Speed
- Midfielder
- Not needed at Juve
Cons
- 27 years old (not necessarily a bad thing)
- Takes up a non-EU spot
- Is primarily a winger (although he can play narrower in midfield)
- Somewhat inconsistent.

He wouldn't take up a non-EU spot as it is a transfer within Serie A.
Not sold on the idea. If we were to pick up an unwanted contract from Juventus I actually wouldn't mind taking a risk on Felipe Melo IF Van Bommel and Ambrosini were to leave.

Although Melo is a decent anchor man but we'd just be putting ourselves at risk to get burnt, i'd rather we go for someone less inclined to elbow opposing players in the face.

I'd be content to have him as a back-up to a new first eleven anchor, I wouldn't want him in our starting line-up. I'm just worried about Ambrosini's injury problems leaving us short for depth and whilst a violent nutter, at least he'd be our violent nutter. Wouldn't offer much for him though.

Gattuso, Ibra, Cassano, Boateng, van Bommel... that's a bad-ass line-up. If you were playing for the other team, you would have contemplate faking injury to avoid playing against that.

Financially it would make sense to get him, he offers some depth and stability as Ambro and MvB seem to be running on fumes late on in the season. It could turn out to be a genius move as he was very good for Brazil in that holding role.
Technically he's very good for a dm, but i just doubt his Mental state and his ability to perform under pressure and scrutiny
Edit: BALO
Edit of Edit: I think i might have contradicted myself there

Re: Mercato Rossonero: Milan Transfer Activity Inside Out
yeah melo would be alright for us.... but then didnt report suggest we got the new AS Nancy traore midfielder?
well since we are painfully missing creative and technical midfielder, i wished milan went for ibrahim afellay. barcelona have wealth of technical talent in midfield and afellay is probably the last in pecking order. as far as i have seen from his PSV time... he is so technically sound, he can play anywhere in forward position and anywhere in midfield position. he is pacey, while he has good passing abilities, he is a bit like sneijder. and barcelona got him for just 6 million and since he is not playing at all, i am absolutely sure he will want to leave ... atleast on loan.
so wished galliani asked him for season long loan with option to purchase at 5-6 million. he would be perfect who can fill seedorf position.
he would fit to us as LM, he can play AM RW/LW as well as seen in dutch team at times... if we want to play a winger system. at PSV few times he played as CM as well. so would be nice to get him.

Afellay has been injured all year, that is why he isn't playing and Pep has been playing Tello and Cuenca there. Barcelona won't let him go anywhere, I can almost guarantee that.
As for Melo, I will blow my brains out if this guy comes to Milan, I never ever liked this guy! It is honestly getting ridiculous, we are MILAN! We are getting these cheap/ free (crappy/ average) players and it disgusts me. I really am scared about the future of this Milan. If Galliani keeps doing this, it can really hurt the team.
I think it may be for the best if we don't win the Scudetto because maybe than Galliani and Berlu can get their heads out of their asses and realize we have some shit players who should have never been allowed to wear a Milan shirt!

Agree 1000% but we need more than just Cassano. Ibra definitely is a creative player but we need midfielders that have that much creativity as well.Milantildeath wrote:In my opinion Cassano is one of the most creative players on the planet

Exactly right. There's very little midfield creativity. No matter how creative our forwards are, the midfielders need to be on the same wavelength as them. One-dimensional supply inhibits the forwards' creativity.Milan31 wrote:Agree 1000% but we need more than just Cassano. If we can get Og, that would be something I would not believe till I see him on the pitch I hope this transfer can go through.

Re: Mercato Rossonero: Milan Transfer Activity Inside Out
AC Milan legend Dejan Savicevic has claimed that he advised his old club to sign Stevan Jovetic before his fellow Montenegrin joined Serie A rivals Fiorentina.
The Viola paid a reported €8 million to FK Partizan to secure the services of the forward in 2008, but the former Rossoneri attacker has claimed that his compatriot could have been plying his trade at San Siro by then.
“Six years ago I advised director Ariedo Braida to buy him for Milan,” Savicevic told TMW. “He didn’t listen ..."
Earlier this season Jovetic signed a new contract with Fiorentina which tied him to the Artemio Franchi until 2016 but that has not put an end to speculation linking the 22-year-old with a move away. Savicevic is in no doubt that the Titograd native belongs on the biggest stage.
“He can play for any club in the world,” the president of the Montenegrin Football Association declared. “He’s demonstrated some great qualities.
"Just think back to what he’s done over the years. Do you remember the game against Liverpool in the Champions League?
“We are talking about a great talent. His future will depend on what Fiorentina decide to do on the transfer market.”
Savicevic spent six years with the Rossoneri and is best remembered for his spectacular strike in Milan's demolition of Barcelona in the 1994 Champions League final.
