Dortmund ain't selling, though. They seem to be following the hardass way when it comes to transfers, even cockblocking and outsmarting Bayern when it comes to transfers (cockblocked Hummels, sealed off Reus mid-season).
Juventus is bigger than Dortmund historically, sure. But lately I'd put them both at similar levels. Juve back in the CL would give Juve an advantage.
Solely to determine the popularity of a football club. And this is in the years of 2005-2009 (not the best years of Juventus as you know). End of discussion.

I'm talking football wise. Obviously Juventus have bigger history.
Also, by your logic, Arsenal and Chelsea are bigger than Juventus.
Really?

BTW, Dortmund is outfitted by Kappa. I have no clue whether one can get their data somewhere, so it is obvious they won't show up at either Adidas or Nike. From July 2012 on, they will have Puma as shirt manufacturers.

Well I guess i misunderstood what you're actually saying then. But yes. I think Arsenal and Chelsea are bigger clubs. Ove the past 10 years Juventus has been absolute trash compared to the team i started supporting when i was 11. Both Arsenal and Chelsea are playing Premier League, which in itself means trillion of fans...
But let's stop it here and, as Luca says, dont be those kind of childish fans discussing whether one club is bigger then another
I stand by what i said earlier and heavily doubt either Kappa or Puma will change the way i see things, as im pretty confident Juve sells better then BvB. Add to that; don't you think Nike or Adidas would sponsor a club if they could see a big business being missed out on?

Interestingly, in Germany the market is pretty complex in that respect. Imagine, we actually had different suppliers of footballs for each team until the very last year. So here you find a lot of teams that are supplied by diverse local suppliers and not just Adidas and Nike. For example, my club RWO uses Hummels kits. ^^LWL91 wrote:Add to that; don't you think Nike or Adidas would sponsor a club if they could see a big business being missed out on?
