German reluctance backfires as Spain will (maybe) have home advantage

Cant see it ever happening tbh
FIFA would loose too uch face and they would never allow that to happen. Every team taking part would have to boycott and then they would probably be punished and banned from competitions.
It would take Egyptian levels of violence on the streets before it was even considered.

If Spain could make it happen in 2012 (which I'm sure they could) then more power to them. Whether that will be allowed however, different story. As long as the Euro does happen in 2012 though and not 2013, I don't really mind. Plus what would that mean for both Poland and Ukraine who are already qualified automatically???

Germany offered themselves up as well, UEFA has already said it's too late for that, though.

The logistics would be a nightmare to change the venue so short before the competition, so I severely doubt they will move it, no matter "who offers himself up"
