Di Maria shouldn't be starting. He just gives the ball away every time there's pressure. Randomly dribbles and he's too predictable.

Pre-injury he was the best winger in the world. Averages 2 assists per-game. Even if we'll buy Lucas, he'll not be a starter ahead of Di Maria.

There surely has to be better players than Di Maria out there. Overall play matters too, since it's not all about stats.

sell cristiano while we can get 60 million for him... put benzema in his position and put higuain (the best striker in the world) as center forward. we will not miss anything but will be 60 million euros richer.

Impossible transfers but what the hell

I think we only need a new RB and a new DM (Javi), sell Lass and Kaka....for any other players we would play our youth and second team in things such as the copa dell rey to help integrate them into our team.

here is my preferred line up for next season, first team player for position is listed first ( Lucas in case we buy him since we are so heavily linked with him)

Next season we should try to play 4-3-3, keeping possession must be a priority.

We can't keep posesion with Xabi, and without Di Maria we lose the width.

In a 4-3-3 Xabi will not be under extreme pressure because Sahin and Martinez (two agile midfielders) will cover him. also it's important that Xabi play on the left side, when Marcelo goes forward someone has to cover him.

Di Maria provide width but he loses the ball so much, we need players who can keep the ball for longer time.

Our only transfers should be Javi Martinez, Lucas Moura, Azip. we should concentrate on buying one or two of these players, But don't be surprised if Martinez follows Bielsa to Barca(if he goes there)

Would anyone like to See Di Maria as a sub?

Before you get me wrong I want him as a sub for no other reason other than the fact I can see him as being an amazing game changer.

Di Maria is too inconsistent. Has always been. I don't think he should be a starter. Atleast we need a good alternative on him when he's in his bad days.

It's too soon for Varane, and Pepe has helped us alot this season, dunno why you want him gone when he has atleast more 2-3 years at the top.

Our midfield needs to change, but the player that is chosen depends on what Mourinho wants to do tactics wise.

We might also need someone to replace Higgy, since he will probabbly be leaving.

And we need a new RB.

Richards has more than decent speed, not to mention his beast build and ability to win challenges cleanly. Beats Arbeloa (one of our main weak spots this season) by every category IMO.

Khedira is decent I'll give you that, but not up to the standards of Real Madrid. He is often slow and hence gets caught off guard by the opposition most of the time, and his passes/vision are just about average. I like his interceptions to be honest, but in this case the cons outweigh the pros and he just has to go.

Other than that, we're perfectly fine. IF and only IF Higuain were to leave us for any reason, then sign up Aguero and bench Benzema. Other than that, those are my two cents.

We don't want to tamper around with the team more than that because that would lead to destabilization, a new period of "let's give time for the team to gel" and all the tagalongs. I don't see the need for any other signings as well to be honest. (Except for Lucas, but he'll probably be loaned back to Sao Paolo immediately so that's another story).

If only we could find THAT long term right wing solution... I mean, I wouldnt mind if we used it to be unpredictable (like sometimes playing three strikers, sometimes trivote, sometimes two AMs), but to just have an inconsistent as hell player all the time there is a big let down.
