Re: Forum Milan Channel: LIVE!
I have no idea why Allegri is being criticised for playing Pato as a centre forward as if he has some other option. Who is he meant to play there, Bonera?

Play Prince at CF to stop him screwing up the build-up.

I agree with you Pato is and can be a great CF however with this current squad I feel he lacks all support. He could be making dangerous runs behind defenders but there is no one that can really pick out a pass or a through ball to make him effective there. At least that what it looks like to me from what I've seen. Without that support he's practically invisible during the game...for that reason it seems like he could be more effective picking up the ball higher and wider on the pitch and using his speed to create problems for teams. Streaking runs down the flanks. IMO I would like to see him on one side with SES on the other, maybe use Robihno as almost a false nine as he's probably the closest thing you have right now...I don't know, that's just me though. Tough situation there.

Lets all please admit it, EL SHAARAWY IS A TERRIBLE PLAYER, JUST TERRIBLE, HE IS SO BAD, HE IS TERRRRRRRRRIBLE. He WAS an interesting prospect but not anymore, he failed time and again to prove himself, in the samp game he couldnt even pass the ball correctly when milan had the rare fast counterattack

Bojan
From the first day here was amazing. The team welcomed me very well. Milanello is something incredible. Getting to Milan was the best gift. A club like Milan should not imitate the game of Barcelona. I got the 22 because I just turned 22 years old. Kaka made history but it is a number. In the market, everything is possible, there was an ambitious project in Rome, but there was no feeling with the company. When I heard of the interest of Milan I did not hesitate to accept. In Milan there are large samples, as it was also in the past. This is a special team, for me it is an honor to be here. Personally, I have always admired Inzaghi.
Return to Barca? No, I want Milan.
Someone from Barcelona told me that he envied me, who wanted to come here too, but I won't tell you who ... My fellow Blaugrana are always close to me, I send him a big hug and bring them to always in my heart, even to friends that I had in Rome.

Re: Forum Milan Channel: LIVE!
It was actually an article in Gazzetta. It was trying to show how Italy struggles against the world when it comes to social media, coming up with stats like Italy's club's "likes" on Facebook only amount to 4% of total top 5 league club's "likes" and the one that was just posted previously.

Re: Forum Milan Channel: LIVE!
(Before u go any further; if u dont want to read my wall of text, plz just answer my question in red at the end! ty)
I think its easier for english and spanish clubs simply cause they have tons of native speakers and will get glory hunters much quicker.
I know a ton of Manu fans and many of them dont really care too much or know that much about football, which is shocking to me. ( I know 1 guy who actually does know of other leagues!)
You think Bolt would be a "fan" of Manu if it was not an english speaking club? I dont. I assume Italian clubs have more in common on the social level of the german clubs, who also struggle a bit with the language factor, and maybe dont want to acknowledge the fact that they need much more english exposure to the rest of the world to recruit more fans.
If internet was at this level when Milan was ruling the world, Im sure we would be among the very best if not the best. Truth is, we have been crap for the most of the time since the 2007 CL, and selling technical magicians like Kaka (although it turned out to be a great deal considering his constant injuries) and not getting anything back, + a wave of old people were close to retirement and very little youth of notable quality coming up the ranks, we are bound to lose a bunch of glory hunters, people who even though might not be the most loyal, actually buy club souvenirs and attend matches, even from other countries!
Imo Milan should aim more for the Scandinavian market like for instance Fiat recently has done. Even though it is 2 different things, I see resemblance in the fact that Fiat or other Italian car manufacturers haven't been that popular in this country compared to many others. But specially the last year that has changed, and I can see a bunch of Fiats out on the road when I drive, which makes me happy, knowing that even up in this cold small country its possible to change things around. I think the same applies to Milans marketing strategy, and it is up to them to widen their horizons and be more creative in that department.
Scandinavia, even though few in number, can offer a load of people actually having the money to travel and watch games, and buying their products!
I am curious though to what degree you have seen Milan advertisement in your country? I cant remember anything where I come from, only Barcelona tv commercials through turkish airlines or whatever, and a lot of Manu stuff. (Manu are great at marketing, specially where I come from, and probably one of the reasons they are the most popular club here)

None. Manutd is the only club whose advertisements I have seen on TV etc. Most of the football followers here only know about EPL/Real/Barca. The main reason for that is no Serie A games are broadcasted on TV. Whereas all EPL and La Liga games are shown. I don't think language plays a part here, because Spanish is as foreign to us as Italian, however La Liga is way more popular than Serie A!

None from Milan in fact I don't see any clubs advertising in my area. In fact the only players I see are Beckham, Messi and occasionally Ronaldo and Kaka. Then a few video game commercials thrown in there.

MILAN - Clarence Seedorf continues to inspire. The ex Rossoneri scored a double in his side's 3-1 win over Cruzeiro in Belo Horizonte.
