Let your anger be heard through chants, don't strip the players of their jerseys. Went too far IMO.
Anyway, DOES ANYONE HAVE A CLIP OF IT?
Actions speak louder than words in Serie A.
I'll try and get a clip.

all those stadiums are half empty, few moments earlier watching the Milan game, and more than half the stadium was empty ... few thousands come to the stadium and make trouble ... is that Serie A authorities call a big league? as a serie a fan, feeling ashamed of what Genoa fans did today ...

Chaos as Genoa-Siena halted
By Football Italia staff
Genoa's 4-1 defeat to Siena was suspended for 40 minutes when angry ultras demanded the players take off their shirts, as they were “unworthy” of wearing them.
Genoa were losing 4-0 at the 53rd minute when the Marassi crowd halted play by throwing fireworks and climbing on top of the tunnel.
Captain Marco Rossi went to negotiate with the ultras, who demanded the squad remove their jerseys, as they were “unworthy” of wearing the Genoa colours.
After some time, the players accepted and there were tears from Giandomenico Mesto as he handed over his shirt.
Rossi was walking around the pitch with a pile of jerseys to show the fans, but Giuseppe Sculli refused to co-operate.
Sculli went over to speak to the fans himself and insisted with great passion that he was giving his all for Genoa, so would not take off the shirt.
He too was in tears and comforted by the head ultra. This proved a breakthrough and the game was allowed to resume.

Re: Genoa game
It might be frowned upon but that is some real passion.
I'm going to watch the City - Wolves game ending where if Wolves lose they will be relegated. Then I will see how the fans react.

51,173 paying fans at the San Siro today, probably 60,000 total attendance. It's a big stadium to fill up. It is bigger than all the EPL stadiums, including Old Trafford.

Stop right there.
I understand that the fans are the ones spending their hard earned money to watch these games and expect to see fight from their team. But to take the shirts off the players? It was all too much for the player, some even broke into tears.
Maybe the Genoa players needed to understand that their performances this season was abysmal, but surley another way was better than this spectacle.

Your going on like the Genoa players are purposely playing poor just to piss the fans off. Everybody loves the passion of the game, it's what makes this game great, but this was over the top.
I can understand the fans anger, but I can't say I fully condone their actions.

No wonder Sculli didn't back down.
Born in Locri, the Province of Reggio Calabria, Sculli is the grandson of Giuseppe Morabito a notorious boss of the 'Ndrangheta, the Calabrian mafia organisation.

Re: Genoa game
Before you Serie A Haters start bashing the league, first let me give you some insight on WHY maybe the fans are acting like that.
Hmm....oh, what about Preziosi spending about 80 MILLION EUROS IN 2 YEARS to have Genoa almost in RELEGATION, when he was always bragging that genoa will become a CL contender team, giving the tifosi hope when he started investing heavily.
I think fans would be really pissed indeed.....Love Serie A.

Re: Genoa game
I understand the fans because lets take example from Cagliari president Cellino. That president always makes the club to go in circles and is satisfied with battling for relegation but he has 500 million ready to buy West Ham and he got refused and than the same summer the club doesn't have enough money to buy new players ? Gimme a break. If I was fan of Cagliari I would like that president out of my club he can take his money and leave even if it means
Serie C. He wants to buy other club but not interested for the club he grown with and half his city lives for ? Disgusting
