How can he prove himself? The midfield is overcrowded and he is not ready to overtake completely. In two years, the situation will be very different.

the thing with alonso is that he is a good player, and he is the type of player that prob wont be affected greatly from age.

i dont see why sell him, but i guess him telling this to liverpool website makes all the talk fire up.

i just hope he stays.

if he doesnt i hope we have adequate replacement.

anyways we have a tremoendous future midfield with guys like

canales,ozil,sahin,khedira/

The replacements are Sahin and Canales. One will overtake sooner than the other.They just need time to mature, Canales even more.

but we have to get canales into playing at acm, in villa real he can benefit from guys like borja valero, and cazorla.

no reason to prove to be competition for ozil.

for him to be acm and develop would be great.

Currently he does the DM role as well as our playmaking, which means he might be affected by age.

well i guess we will maybe go out for others then if needed.

mou seems to really want a true dm, and it would be ideal for us to get a promising one as well, or an experienced middle age dm.
