I hope Carroll continues his scoring run. I predict a comfortable win 3:0, Suarez and Carroll scoring

That thread title is pretty boss eco smile

Win win win, please, cannot let Everton finish above us in the league!

Reina
Johnson - Skrtel - Agger - Enrique
Henderson - Shelvey - Spearing - Maxi
Suarez - Carroll

Subs: Gerrard on for Jonjo if needed, Downing for Maxi and Kuyt for Hendo.

Nish should be making threads as his are a work of Art :coffee:

Reina (F**K Doni)
Kelly-Skrtel-Agger-Jose
Spearo-Hendo
Suarez-Gerrard-Maxi
Carroll

Quite simply, I hope we annihilate this team just to further dispel the myth that Roy is even close to being a half-decent manager.

Not much to say except that this line-up can provide the balance and flair needed for our team to perform along with their respective form included.

Hodgson attempting to scratch off his own face so that he will not be recognized as the piece of junk manager he is.

Once again, Hodgson displaying his suicidal tendencies after what is probably his 445385345365356th Managerial blunder.

Must not let Everton finish above us...

Must not let Woy have any claim at being mistreated by Liverpool... We all know he had to go. It's time to prove it.

Agger must play CB.

Carroll should start. He has to have the opportunity to continue his run of form.

That's why I think it's unthinkable not to start him in this game.

Give the ball to Agger if we get a spot-kick.

Still can't believe Agger was a back-up to PFK.

If that wasn't grounds enough to fire Hodgson, I don' know what would be.

Poulsen.

Whoring Leiva across Europe too. [Think that was mainly Purslow though, but Leiva was back-up to Poulsen.]

Ending Insua's LFC career to bring in PFK.

And that's just transfer related.

An OK first half, but we seem a little out of ideas in attack. Two terrific saves by Reina, West Brom could be leading.

We had a lot of chances to be honest, Suarez is playing like his old self, but our finishing is horrid. worst player for us in the first half was Kuyt, missed a sitter and lost the ball countless of times. Others did ok!!

Played them off the pitch, but simply could not finish. It's incredibly disappointing to get nothing from an otherwise very good performance.

Check out the shot stats from the game:
CarrollPool vs. Return of the Owl Lvp-v-WB_shots

Unfortunately, they took their chance. We had several very close misses (at least two shots hit the woodwork), but simply did not finish. It feels very similar to the Arsenal game, where we arguably played better, but couldn't convert.

(I feel like I've been using the "facepalm" smiley far too much this season.)

Dominate the chances? Tick.
Hit the post? Tick.
Hit the bar? Tick.
Cleared off the line? Tick.
Chance after chance? Tick.
Lack of composure in front of goal? Tick.
No subs til after 65 mins? Tick.
Run out of ideas late on? Tick.

^ his old self of dribbling past 3-4 players, then instead of squaring the ball for someone to tap it in, trying to score himself from impossible angle.

I mean ,I'd admit we were shit against Wigan/Villa/Sunderland etc. ...but today, we absolutely bummed them...and yet managed to lose

I know I'm stating the obvious, but...get a natural goal scorer and you will be where Ncastle are right now. A Cisse or a Ba would have done wonders for you.

You create so many chances per game it's crazy how you end up either drawing or losing.

Jovetic isn't really a finisher... though I'd still like him to join. :D

Said it before Leiva was injured... we need to splash it all out on a striker that can finish. I know we're in for the long term project, but we need CL to compete with the higher level of clubs financially and to attract better players. With the FFP coming in soon, we're going to have to get in their next year. :\
