Wouldn't be the first time Messi handled the ball intentionally. He's tried to steal the league with handballs all his career.

In any case I blame the media. They've made it impossible for refs to do their jobs properly. Every mistake is ridiculed so they have to resort to blanket rules like this one.

La Liga refs are ridiculous for giving yellow cards for handball. The amount I've seen where it was obvious it was not intentional. They must have been told to clamp down on it or something.

In saying that, I didn't realise it was THAT ridiculous.

Im sure certain coaches who are always complaining about apperent injustices and bias arent helped them either.

La Liga has the worst referees in the world bar none, it also doesn't help they have stupid rules like mandatory yellow card for all handballs. They're ruining the credibility of the game

I watched 2 matches this season where he handled the ball to control it easier then fire...
but both times the referee caught him...
He been doing it for a longtime
