Illegalize slander through the Internet? Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaawl.

You'd have an easier time banning porn Laughing. One of the great things of the Internet is talking shit in the shelter of anonymity.

my home state...

its one of a whole bunch of absurd laws the house is trying to pass... racist immigration bill has already passed, another bill could make it illegal for people to use health insurance to pay for birth control (and you could get fired from your job too), and now this. arizona, WTF?!

oh, and how could i forget THIS gem: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/04/03/the-daily-show-mocks-tucson-mexican-american-studies-ban_n_1400071.html

This reads like an april fool's joke, even though it isn't.

What I especially love is "offend anyone", that line is pure gold. Talk about abortion/evolution to a born-again Christian? -> Crime!

Talk about creationism to an atheist? -> Crime

Drop an F-bomb on teh interwebs -> Crime

That law is laughably impossible to actually enforce.

"If electronic devices are used to stalk someone, the charges then become a Class 3 felony, with penalties ranging from a minimum sentence of two and a half years in jail for non-dangerous offenders with no prior record to 25 years."

facebook stalking would be a crime too
