other than confederation cup XI,

what kind of new combo or partnership u would like to see

eg

what do u think of player like alex teixeira

and how about fernandinho.

I wouldn't change much, if anything at all tbh.

The current team know each other too well.

fernandinho has been a top 5 CM this season.Would really like to have him on our bench instead of Lucas.

our starting lineup will most probably the same as in the confed cup.Although we will have a much stronger bench.

Marcelo shouldn't play, felipe luis has been far better then the fat afro guy.

What are the chances of filipe Luis of making the squad ? I guess Marcelo is undroppable.

Most importantly, don't you think that Fernandinho is better than Paulinho despite lacking chemistry with the others players ? Fernandinho-Gustavo or Ramires-Gustavo ?

Bar Fred, who are the others strikers going to the WC ? Jo ? Pato ?

Luis will only get in the squad if Marcelo or Maxwell get injured.Both of them have been great for us.

Comparing Fernandinho and Paulinho is like comparing Lampard and Modric.They are different type of CMs.I would go with Paulinho-Gustavo though,simply because they complement each other perfectly and Paulinho is too important for us due to his goalscoring ability.


The CF pos. is a huge dilemma.Fred got a 6 month injury after the match vs Spain.All our other CFs are pretty garbage.In the end we will go with a false 9 formation that Scolari has used recently in case something happens with fred

Costa would have been perfect imo . Going to a WC with Jo as striker/back up isn't really a great perspective imo.

So which players are ahead of Coutinho at the moment?

Willian,Oscar,Bernard, Neymar and Hulk.However, Scolari said there could be a surprise on the squad list in 2 weeks

I think Coutinho is making himself a case to challenge for CM spots rather than challenge the likes of Neymar and Hulk. On this year's form Coutinho should also be ahead of Oscar, regardless of position. Anyway, will be interesting to see what the squad will be like in the end.

I would rather have Cou than Bernard.

I also really like Cou, but i dunno, im just afraid of giving him a chance with the NT and he doesn't perform, at least with Oscar it's a sure thing

If anyone should be ahead of Oscar based on form it's Roberto Firmino. And Oscar simply won't be dropped anyway. His form for Brazil and Chelsea are completely on the opposite ends of the spectrum.

Coutinho should be taken over the likes of Bernard and Oscar, but it won't happen. Maybe in a few years.

I think Coutinho should be used as substitute. Those who follow Brazil/international games regularly, what is their regular starting XI!!

Over Bernard, yes. Over Oscar, no.

Out of 11 players who started most of the confed cup there are Oscar, Fred, Paulinho, Julio César who didn't have a good year . A bit too much no ?

Oscar was Chelsea's best player on the first half of the season. His from dropped from fatigue around February.

Paulinho has been ok. Spurs overall has been shit.

and marcelo, filipe luis should start.

This team should be good enough with the likes of Paulinho, Oscar, Coutinho, Leandro Damiao, Marcelo, Fernando Reges, Dante on the bench.

Scolari indicated today that J. César, T.Silva, Fred, #CFC's D.Luiz, Ramires, Willian & Oscar & #THFC's Paulinho will be in the WC.

F. Luis won't even be at the WC. Marcelo has that spot locked

luis has been more consistent then Marcelo this season, hell marcelo doesn't make it into the starting 11 for Madrid, due to inconsistency or injuries.
