Re: Valencia new coach: Mauricio Pellegrino
I read somewhere Benitez wanted Pellegrino to be his successor at Liverpool back in the day and was teaching him many things but things didn't quite go as he planned.

Re: Valencia new coach: Mauricio Pellegrino
benitez in an interview with la taula:
on pellegrino
it's gonna be interesting, if nothing else...
"If the offer I had from Spain was Valencia, we wouldnt have been talking about Mauricio..."
on pellegrino
"He already showed leadership as a player, and I'm sure this will show. He has all the ingredients to do well. As a player, no doubting his quality. I brought him to Liverpool as a player, and he stayed as my assistant. I hold him in high regard. He has never managed, but as a player and coach he has shown his level and ability. Technically, tactically, in terms of knowledge, enthusiasm and in terms of dedication, he's ready."
it's gonna be interesting, if nothing else...

Re: Valencia new coach: Mauricio Pellegrino
I was hoping Valencia could have put the past behind them and bring back Rafa. Or find the fountain of youth and bring back Mendieta, Ayala, Baraja, Abelda, Canizares....

Re: Valencia new coach: Mauricio Pellegrino
Valencia now interested in Joao Pereira from Sporting, worth 5m.
they might sign Siqueira (granada) when Alba is sold to Barca.
Bruno might arrive if Villarreal go down, but one of Topal or Tino will go
Diego Alves listening to offer

Perriera's cool. Means Miguel might leave finally.
Something tells me I won't be too pleased this Transfer season.

sacked
poor guy, not his fault Jonas decided to get a red card and fck Valencia up in their last game. their best start in CL for a good while as well
They should sign Benitez during the winter window

Re: Valencia new coach: Mauricio Pellegrino
Your CL games have been pretty great tho. And besides he had nearly a whole new team to work with even his name sake had difficulties with that at Madrid. I think he should have been allowed to stay at least until the end of the season. i can understand if Valencia were out of CL/Copa/top four but they are neither at the moment. They have a chance of finishing first in CL, have gone through in Copa and we all know how fast things can turn in LaLiga table bar the top 2/3. Llolrente being a dipstick here imho

Re: Valencia new coach: Mauricio Pellegrino
Funniest thing is that i heard Valverde is only staying for 6 months because he has been promised to coach Bilbao next season He is basque and dreams of coaching Bilbao. If it's true, dat management
