Why is Krasić not being played?

I don't watch Juve much but I remember watching them last season and Krasić was one of the better players. Why doesn't he play for Juve these days?

It's partly because of Krasic being figured out slightly by the opposition. Everybody knows he likes to knock the ball forward and out-pace defenders but perhaps the main reason is that Conte expects every player to put in a very hard shift when Juventus don't have the ball. Krasic is an out and out winger and when asked to defend he really can't do it well.

I'm also guessing he can't use his main weapon, speed, when he's running backwards trying to recover the ball. It requires too much energy.

Conte is expecting all the wingers to defend really much, Krasic is not good at tracking back. Also even when he played he was pretty bad, out of form.
I'm really sad for him though, he has huge potential but his agent stated that he simply doesn't fit in Conte's team and will be leaving in the summer.

the few shots conte has given him, he has looked atrocious. he really only gave us 6 good months last season, and was non existent already after the break

How exactly was he ever consistent?

On topic, he can only run fast and honestly lacks technique/dribbling and doesnt pass that well. In our system Pepe's way more useful since we play possession and take our time now.

Krasic could only break on counter attacks, and once the teams learned his "only trick", he was shut down, hence sucked in the second half of last season.

He's just not Juventus material.

Krasic story is simple...we thought he was a wolf but turned out to be a sheep in wolfs clothing :shisha:

he had a couple great runs and goals that fog the remembrance of fairly consistent mediocre play. the thing that changed last january was the moments of brilliance that cancelled out the rest went away. im hoping we can get 10 million for him, but doubtful

Krasic is not consistent. He did close to nothing for about a year. He had a great first half of last season, but since then....

Because he is one dimensional and he cant dribble and when he first came in Juve the players from other teams in serie A didnt know his skills and he played good but when coaches studied him and found that he can run and has poor finishing.And now under Conte he cant give what Conte wants.That its on short
