Raul is obv better but it dosent take long to CR7 surpass Raul given the time and his talent.

I ask it because I personally know plenty of Madrid fans who say CR7 is a better player. Probably blinded by goals, stats and Irina.

But people seem to write off CLs because you finally are winning La Liga from Barcelona. More knee jerking as usual.

Actually Sushi....I might not deny one day that he's a better player ( he hasn't yet reached Raul's 2000-2002 form, but he's a great player.

Raul isn't just a player for Madrid, he's a symbol, he was the heart and soul of the team.

Ronaldo can never in a million years be that for any team.

As I said, it's guys so blinded by Barca hate, that any minor victory against the Barcelona of today, which is undoubtedly twice the team it was before is celebrated like they've won the War.

Samurai that's what I mean. As a player some rate Cronaldo more than Raúl, which I don't agree with at all. Forget the symbol and all that.

Zidane is a midfielder/playmaker, ronaldo is a winger..

Messi was a winger and scored quite a bit. Why can't ronaldo do the same. Is it because its ronaldo and he's this and that..?

Ronaldo isn't really a winger. More of a inside forward.

Against CSKA is the first time I've seen him actually fulfill his duties as a winger in a while.

Yes, more a forward than anything as Samourai said. Plays on the opposite flank to cut in and shoot. Same thing Messi did, but with less passing and teamwork.

Sorry, but I'm not the Ronaldo this, Messi that type.

Are you serious.

Anyway, Ronaldo was a winger but now he became an inside forward. He does still play sometimes as a pure winger though, such as against Barca in the CDR.

CR has to lead Portugal to WC glory, RM to CL glory..and equalize real Ronaldo WC goals tally to be considered as good as him...

and that because you think goals=quality.
