Milan lost first half 3-0 and that shows Serie A is not as good as Serie A fans claim it to be. Very Happy

Wins against Palermo and Arsenal carried them away badly, they needed that slap to get back on ground, pretty much that's it. I think it's lucky for Milan that it came just in time without consequences.

This was the general feeling amongst Milan fans. We were playing extremely well prior to the 2nd leg despite a huge chunk of our squad being injured. Allegri was either complacent or nervous, made some extremely unusual changes to our strategy and formation (4-3-3, what was he thinking?!) and he and our players came in with the wrong attitude towards the game. They seemed disinterested, unsure, confused.

We reverted back to our usual style in the second half and played much better. The important thing to remember is that our team is capable of playing exceptional football and the 1st half was an isolated incident.

We were lucky to get let off with a warning instead of devastating 'Liverpool/Deportivo consequences'. We have qualified for the next stage and we are top in Serie A. There's no reason to panic if our team and coach have learnt from this experience and use that to move forward with determination and confidence instead of dwelling on that first 45 minutes.
