That's a complicated question. Based solely on his performance up until the Chelsea fiasco, I can't say I would include him. He was good... He was darned good, and we loved him for it. However, in his 3 1/2 seasons, he only played more than 25 games once. The last half a season he was a shell of his former self, and he was too often injured to REALLY affect the season (except for the season we came in 07-08). Had he stayed and continued something close to his production in the previous seasons, he would be a legend. Just examining his performances for the club prior to his departure (removing any negative feelings due to said departure) I would have to say he was good, but not top 5.

Think of it this way; would you really bump Gerrard, Daglish, Barnes, Fowler, Rush, Keegan, Hyypia or whoever else for Torres's production over his 3 1/2 years with us?

Owen did more for us than Torres tbh and he isn't even in the top ten

Torres would be probably be 7th for me, after Reina.

Anyone who saw my list...ignore it.
