Penalties are about the same difficulty as finishing a couple of the chances Messi had today. What separates Messi and Ronaldo is not scoring ffs....it's everything that happens before it.

The goals he scored today are harder than penalties, how did he score these goals have no clue.

I will agree that taking penalties is hard and you have to be focused and skilled to score them everytime. The difference is that someone else might earn tHe penalty and Ronaldo scores the penalties. That is not as glorious as someone producing their own chances an finishing them.
For example benzema goes down for 3 penalties but Ronaldo scores them plus 2 goals. I would never aknowledge that as the same thinG messi did today.

No one cares whether or not you acknowledge it ...to CR fans that's 5 goals....to alot of fans around the world...that's 5 goals. As it should be.
It's the same as Iniesta spliitng the defence for a easy Messi finish basically.

Ok it still won't be that glorious no matter what you say.
Christina fan boys will admire anything he does, when he dived they defend him so that opinion doesn't count in this world. Just give credit where it's do and that should be the thread.

Re: First player in UCL history
Open play goals are much harder than penalties, there are no defenders to stop you on a penalty, no offside etc.Le Samourai wrote:Albiceleste wrote:4 of the 5 would probably be penalties :vagi:

Re: First player in UCL history
I think that the actual process ie...the final kick to score the goal...for a goal is about as difficult as any one on one(less or more difficult than some) and easier than a tap in.

Messi, what a beast.
But when you say UCL history, is it since it has it's new name or are you also counting the previous European Champion Clubs' Cup? Either way it's an awesome achievement.

O your a big boy because you called me a closet fan. Ya coming from an Iranian Madrid fan seems legit. How many Madrid games have you seen live? My guess would be 0. Go back to streaming your Madrid games and let real fans discuss things.

This Real Fan shit is BS.
I haven't watched an official Real Madrid game live in 10 years...I suppose my account just expired.
Take that trash out of here.

Yes, it's very easy to take penalties and consistently covert them. :vagi:

Messi is the most consistent player of this level since pele and Muller and Cruyff. He is in the elites category.
