for those who wasn't born. Milan was sent to serie B because of a betting scandal as was Lazio. Lazio stayed in serie B for 3 seasons, Milan easily won the Serie B, and returned to Serie A, where it would suffer its worst season ever, in 1981/1982, being relegated once again. Juve did not do that.

in 1986 a guy called Berlusconi Bought Milan and they started to win again in the season 1987/1988. I know that Lazio is not a big team, but it is hard work to get back. Juve will do it, if not this year then soon.
My friend you are confused, Milan moved on a steady pace while rebuilding, improving by the year, the core of the Sacchis team was built before Berlusconi take over, mainly from home grown players. Only WC players were brought to the club later.

What I see in this Juve era is just knee jerk reactions from the managements and avg to above avg players being introduced to the club, those players won't satisfy the coming coach for Juve and he will have to start from scratch again, one season you finish 2nd, then 7th, then 5th and so on...

Seriously, Matri, Vucinic, Bo, even Quag are squad players at best, same for Chigarini, Estiga, and this current Pirlo.

that is not true, players like ,C. Ancelotti, M. van Basten, R. Gullit, Angelo Colombo came in 1987
G. Galli, D. Massaro, R. Donadoni came in 1986
sure some players like Maldini and F. Galli came up.

still same thing, my point still stands, ONLY WC players where bought, and MANY home grown,Tassotti, Donadoni, Costacorta, Galli, Massaro all came before Belusconi.

Plus that was the best years of Italian football, not the worst years and yet Juve find it tough to stand on their feet again.

Berlusconi bought Milan i feb. 1986 and donadoni came 1/7 1986 from atalanta so he is not a milan youth. Massaro came same date and from fiorentina and before that monza and he was not a milan youth.
G.Galli also came from fiorentina 1/7 1986.
Costacurta came from milan youth in 1/7 1987

so they did not came before berslusconi.

in 1982 Italy won the WC and milan was struggling to get to its feet.
in 1980 milan went to serie B in 1988 they wn serie a again, how many years are that?.
